Poncho is gone
Thank you all for your warm thoughts and support this week as my heart struggled with Poncho's failing kidneys. In the end, we let him stay here at home and go in his own time. I was out today with the gals (and Kylie) in ****eysville and shortly before I got home Mr Mo was sitting in the hall petting him and he shuddered and passed over the Rainbow Bridge.
Poncho was part of a pair ... he and his brother Lefty are/were Tuxedo cats with perfect tux markings, except that they 'shared' a mustache. Mr Mo always said they shared a brain as well. I know they shared a heart that loved the two of us unconditionally.
Hugs, Mo
Oh MO! I just got to sign on and yours was the first message I saw. I know you are so sad, but Poncho did live a long life and I'm sure it was a very spoiled life just from how much I know you loved that kitty. I'm sorry that you weren't there when he passed over, but it was good that Mr. Mo was right by his side. (((((((((HUGS))))))))))))) to you and Mr. Mo!
I am not sure spoiled even begins to cover it. The boys are/were my pride and joy, you would have thought they were my children. It was important for Mr Mo to be at peace with Poncho's passing and I'm glad he was there with him and didn't just 'find' him.
Thanks for the love and support you have shown us through this time.
Hugs, Mo
