Good Morning Everybody! How is everyone today? Amen, it's Friday! Nothing bad has gone wrong this week, but it seems like this week has taken forever to get to this point. Good morning Terry I'm at home this a.m. just enjoying my coffee and trying to shake this headache that has been nagging for a few days. I think it's sinus-related from the crazy weather. Mr Mo's still in bed. Our server upgrade is NOT happening today so that leaves me open for the excursion tomorrow!!! I mentioned it to Mr Mo at dinner last night and he seemed to think I should go, so now I just need to figure out HOW to get there from here and how long I need to allow for it to be there by 9 I'll bring the camera so we can document the adventures! We had a death in the extended family Wednesday night. My brother in law's father-in-law passed. Mr Mo and I have known Mr B for a very long time. The parents were long time friends before their two kids ever got married, so I have known him for 30 years. Right now we are planning to drive to CT on Sunday even if the viewing isn't Sunday evening, to be able to spend some time with the family. The body shop man said the Blazer should be ready today. I am not sure if he is calling Mr Mo or if Mr Mo is supposed to call him. I'll figure that out when Mr Mo gets out of bed!!! As of last night Poncho was still holding on. I can't find him this morning, but I haven't looked too hard. I am afrad of finding him dead. I'll wait for Mr Mo (do you see a recurring theme here .. the day depends on Mr Mo getting out of bed ...) OH, for all of my nightmares and panic the video conference yesterday went REALLY well. The room was perfect for the type of event. If I don't have a County-owned facility to use next year, I am going to see if we can get the same room at the college again. Everyone was pleased with the location, and it was nice to be right down the street from home rather than having to drive home from Westminster or Catonsville. I had my hair done last night too. The color thing is so subtle, but once it's done I feel so much brighter. I also got adventurous with the cut and had it cut slightly shorter (it falls to my collar bone) but with the funky long chunky layers. I can still pull it all back/up to use my clip-on hair piece which was the most important part for me. I am going to jump in the shower in a bit and wa**** and see how it behaves when I do it myself. I love the way Denise does my hair, but there are times when I like my way better .... of course .. these layers remain to be seen. I didn't want to go too short or too layered .. so I could grow it back out again if I hated it. Well, don't I have the chatty-fingers this morning! I think I'll go refill the coffee mug and play on line for a bit longer then make some noise to see if I can jar Mr Mo out of bed .. Have a good Friday and see you tomorrow (I hope ..)_ Hugs, Mo

I'll second that!!! Why is it that when I can sleep in, I can't, yet when I HAVE to get up, I can't? I've been up since 6!! 6!!!! Ugh!! Who do I see about this??? Well, today, Mom wants to go look at a tv stand at an Amish furniture store - they are tres $$$$, but you get what you pay for, and they're wonderfully made of solid wood - the one she wants is about $400!!!! YIKES!!! But she never buys anything for herself, so I'll take her and we'll see what they have. Molly has a 4:15 vet appt., and she's likely to be pretty peeved at me afterward. She's been kind of dragging her heinie on the ground, but I'm not sure if it's "scooting," which is a sign her anal glands may need to be expressed (what fun!), or if she's trying to scratch and is too chubby/arthritic to get her leg up where it needs to be. The vet is going to give us hell for her weight, too - it's a family thing! She eats lots of table scraps, and I keep telling Mom that she's going to kill her with kindness. The vet said in addition to her food and biscuits, the only thing she should have is carrots and green beans as treats. Well, I hate to break it to the vet, but Molly's smarter than all of us combined! When we first started the carrots and green beans, she loved them, but after about a week, she would just walk away from her bowl, and now, if she gets one in her mouth with her regular food, she spits them out. So our kitchen floor sometimes looks like a green bean/carrot land mine!!! She's also getting her nails clipped and a fecal sample taken. I'm telling ya, she won't be talking to me for a while!!! All that, plus the exorbitant fees the vet charges!!! Mo, I woke up thinking about Poncho - I hope everything's okay and that he's just sleeping somewhere warm and cozy. Let me know. I hope you can make it tomorrow, but if not, I understand. BTW, the parking lot is a grocery store type, so it'll accommodate your monster truck! Gary had to be in to work early today, so Dad went over to get KB ready for school. While he was there, he cleaned out B's bookbag and found: acorns (B loves them!), rocks (ditto), and a smushed up Pop Tart!! Little boys!!!! He said K was dancing around the living room because she got an A+ on her math test. Although she's in 5th grade, she's in 7th grade GT math, and is absolutely smarter than all the adults in her life!! She wants to be a doctor, and I'm hoping she'll be able to support me eventually!!!! So that's it for me I guess. Don't know if I'll be on here later, dial-up's such a pain. But I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! I'm bringing stickers so we have name tags, but maybe we should all wear matching shirts? Just kidding!!!! Have a great day! Tia

Morning Tia I just printed out the directions for Valley View Farms now I just have to remember to take them with me in the morning Yahoo says it will take 59 minutes. I think I'll try to leave about 7:30 to allow for having to turn around in the big blue truck and retrace my steps (and to stop for coffee at 7-11) If I get behind in the a.m. I'll call ya! Hugs, Mo

Hi Terry! Happy Friday to everyone! I'm doing good. I got a piece of turkey stuck last night. At first I thought I was just full and then a little while later I though I had over eaten because my tummy felt badly so I just waited it out. Two hours later I thought maybe it was something stuck and I went to and immediately out flew a little hunk of turkey. I had instant relief. Do you RNY girls ever get food stuck? I'm not sure because your tummy size is decreased surgically and mine is like a girdle on my tummy (that's how I think of my band! hehe). But food wise I'm making pretty good choices. That turkey was delish - other than getting stuck. Mo~I hope Poncho is just curled up all warm and cozy somewhere taking a nap. Hugs to all! I hope to see you tomorrow

Morning Heather I get stuff stuck (or something) and hurl on a regular basis .. and that is at 2 1/2 plus years out Mr Mo is finally up ( I went in the bedroom and STARED at him until he woke up) ... We haven't started looking for Poncho. I am almost hoping that we find him sleeping in eternity. He will be out of pain and we won't have to make the decision today. Thank you for your wonderful support and warm thoughts through this week. Hugs, Mo

Sometimes it's so hard to pay attention to chewing! That's why I guess it got stuck and it wasn't even a big piece. I hate throwing up, but if it works I gotta do it right? I can understand wanting to find Poncho "sleeping in eternity". What a way to go. I hope when he goes that it IS peacefully in his sleep. NO better way to go. That's how my grandmother went. She fell asleep laying on the sofa watching the news and had a massive heart attack that killed her instantly. She was a good soul.

Good afternoon. I was busy this morning taking an annual required online course in compliance and ethics. It was long but very informative since it was my first one with this firm. I hope to get to walk today but I am not sure that is going to happen. One of my co-workers is having lunch with her family so she will likely be gone longer and the other one is leaving early. Still, one of my bosses is out today so I might be able to get in a walk by myself around 1:30-2. I need it. Our support group meeting was so good last night. There were two gals there who haven't been in a couple of months. They looked awesome. One gal looked like she was about a size 10! She's taller so that helps her but man, I couldn't believe how great she looked at only 5 months out! The other gal looked great too. She is 6 months out and has lost 96 lbs already. She looked like a completely different person. What fun! I am ready for tomorrow. I really need to clean my house, it's truly a disaster but I need time away too. So I will hopefully get the housework done Sunday. I don't think I can stand the mess much longer. Tonight I have GOT to get several boxes of old clothes packed and ready to be mailed and the other bags into the truck. My hubby can take them to the post office & good will respectively for me. I am tired of them filling my room. I have more to take out of my closet too! Yay. I had better run. Gotta get some travel folders done. What a beautiful Friday! Hugs, Robin
