It's over!!

Hi gang! I survived the colonoscopy. I really didn't have any doubt that I would, but it's good to have it over with. I've been cleared for 5 years now, so I don't have to go bac****il .. ummmmmmmmm.. 2011 ??? does that sounds right Anyway, thanks for all the love and support while I whined about the prep part. There was very definitely sedation!!! A combo of demerol and versed .. I remember him telling the nurse to start the sedation .. and then I remember him telling me it was just about over ... I slept through the whole event .. Hugs, Mo

WOOHOO! Good for you then! I always feel SO good after I've had a procedure/surgery that involves good sedation or good drugs! I don't get much sleep between working FT, going to school FT, and taking care of Kylie and home so any kind of sleep is greatly appreciated! hehehe

I never even hear the doctor once the sedation is started. I always wakein recovery wondering why someone is disturbing my sleep. Glad it went well. Aime

Well, that would be me !!! I had a series of endoscopies after my RNY that were like that. I wasn't stressed about the colonoscopy because I knew the drugs would be good ... I was more stressed about having to drink THAT stuff ... but the Half Litely prep isn't so bad ... not nearly as nasty as the Fleet phosphasoda ... and not chalky either. Hugs, Mo
