Been gone for a a while
Hi everyone,
I have been out of the loop for a while, traveling for work...this was my third week in a row! Prior to that from 30 Sep to 16 Oct I was in NC with my daughter and welcoming Baby Grandaughter #3 into the world. She was born 13 Oct and she is beautiful.
Well I am 11 weeks and 3 days post-op and I have lost a grand total of 59.6 lbs . I have dropped from 28/30s to 18/20s (some times just XL, depending on how they are made). I can run 1 mile and walk 2...I work out 3-4 times per week (even on the road) and am loving the new me thats appearing (or should I say dissapearring). I have had no major problems and hope that when I see DR. S for my 3 month follow-up he'll be pleased.
I look forward to Mid-December when my traveling slows down and I can go to support group again. Oh a big wow...first plane ride since the surgery was on 16 Oct and I needed no belt extender and had extra seat belt left over...loving it. well got to run...miss you all
Hi Ros
Welcome back! Congrats on the new grandbaby .. I bet she is a little angel.
I know the 'on the run' feeling well. I was away on vacation for 9 days in early October, then was back in the office for a day, then out for a class, back a couple of days .. then off to Chicago for a conference then back for a day and out for another day conference ... I felt like I was out the whole month of October. (but then I whined/complained about having to go to the office for 5 days in a row this week .. ) Then it seeems like in November we have a lot of days off, with Election Day, Veterans Day and two days for Thanksgiving. Before I know it it will be Christmas.
Flying is sooo much easier at 100 plus pounds lighter. I still can't get used to having to 'pull' on the seat belt to tighten it.
Hugs, Mo
