Support group meeting in White Plains, MD

I heard that there is a support group meeting in White Plains, MD. When? Where? Time? I am scheduled for surgery on Nov. 21st.(this may change) but that is the date we are shooting for.

Hi Pat, The Tri-county weight loss surgery support group meets at the SMECO (southern md. electric co.) in White Plains Md, just south of Waldorf on rt. 301 right before Laplata Md. - ( If you are coming south on rt 301 from Waldorf it is the traffic lt. after Billingsly Rd. WAWA gas station , there is a traffic lt. right in front of the SMECO bldg. turn left there) at 7 - 8:30 pm - on the 3rd Wed. eve of ea. month. Come early if ya can to sign in and enter our monthly drawing ( fun) We have a clothing exchange which has been a life saver for alot of us as the pounds come off and the sizes change rapidly. This month we are having a speaker from Pa. Dr. Agha, a plastic surgeon, speak and tell us about the proceedures available after we get to our goals to tighten up and remove excess skin etc. ( one of our gals had the total body lift and he was her plastic surgeon - she looks fabulous! ) * Hope to see ya there, We frequently have guest speakers and one of our favorite speakers, Dr. Harrington ( wls surgeon and plastic surgeon) Reminds us often that the patients who get and keep in support groups do much better overall. Goes to show we all need one another, Hugs Mary ps you have the same wls surgeon as me!
