Good Thursday Morning Everybody! How is everyone this morning? I hope the commute into work isn't so bad later on today. I didn't hit any traffic on my way in this morning, but the rain was coming down pretty good. So what's going on in your world? How goes the eating, fluids, protein, supplements and exercise? I'm doing great! Everything is in check and although I didn't make it to the gym yesterday, I left work at Noon yesterday and was out enjoying my little piece of suburbia by 1:00pm. I got my grass cut, trimmed, the perennials trimmed back and everything raked/sweeped by 4:00pm. Prior to WLS I had to hire someone to do my grass because physically I could no longer do it. After 3 hours yesterday I felt like I had, had a decent workout, but wasn't really tired. I could've went 3 more hours if I had to! (yeah!!!!). Then after dinner last night (my Bible Study group got cancelled), My Mom and I went to the new Boscov's store in Marley Station Mall. It was nice! I got a new Christmas Tree. We're kinda scaling back (but ya gotta have a tree) - I got a beautiful, 4.5 feet tree that's life-like and pre-lit. Tonight I've got church choir practice, tomorrow I'm running errands and then Tia and I will get together to join a group of ladies from the singles board in Germantown. Well, hopefully Tia will be able to join us. I don't have anything planned for this weekend, but I'm thinking I'm going to get caught up on some paperwork and start my Christmas Baking. Have a Wonderful Day! Terry

Good Morning Sunshine! You're on a roll! I'm in a rut!! Can't quite seem to shake myself out of the slump that I'm in. Kind of think it has to do with the shorter days. Feel like I want to go to sleep by 6-7PM. Unreal! Need to get a boost of energy in the evenings. Doing good on Vitamins. Not on exercise. Also need to get rid of all the halloween candy sitting around. Told hubby this AM, that if it tempts me today, It's trash! Some stuff I can ignore and others - well it calls to me. Reference Christmas baking, I'm waiting on a cookie count for a cookie swap. Really looking forward to it. This will be the 4th year with the same group. It's always fun. Have a great time in your singles get-together. Let us know how it goes? Take care and keep up the good work. TraciL

Traci, Oh I definitely can relate to the rut. I was there last week and the week before. I have trouble adjusting to the time change (shorter days). I really think I have SAD - I hate the shorter days with less light, yet I love this time of year - go figure. I hear ya on the Halloween candy. I had a friend stop by last night and I asked her if she'd take my leftovers to her office (lots of men who can eat all that garbage)...so she took it off my hands! yeah!! I've never done a cookie swap before, from what I've heard it's fun. I'm going to keep some of the stuff I bake for the house (I'm planning to use half sugar and half splenda in all my recipes, although I'm hoping I can resist as well as I did last year), but most will go for refreshments for various church activities between now and Christmas. You'll get out of your rut soon...you know what you have to do Will you be joining us for the get together on the 11th? I know it's quite a drive for you...but was just wondering Have a great day and take care, Terry

Good morning I've always thought I was an early bird .. but Terry bein' at work at 3:30 a.m. is WAY too early for me! And you too Traci .. though I am used to you being up for bus driving duty. Have meetings the next couple of days for this project I am working on at work. This is a long term project and will involve the entire department over the next 6 to 9 months until the first draft is completed. It is the kind of thing that is not static, but will constantly be evaluated and revised basically FOREVER. That should keep me busy until I retire. Mr Mo is working Saturday so that he will have Monday off to go with me for my colonoscopy. I am NOT looking forward to that at all (though I doubt anyone does .. ) I will be spending Sunday on 'clear' liquids in preparation. I don't have to drink the STUFF until early Monday a.m. I might check out Boscov's on Saturday if I am out and about, though I should spend some quality time at home cleaning, etc. Ok, time to get ready here. Have a wonderful day! Will check back later from the office when I get a chance. Hugs, Mo

Morning all! I was rooting for Jasmine to take a spill but was disappointed. We had a blast at the ice show nonetheless. The four year old loved it all except for the dragon coming out for Sleeping Beauty. Scared her something good. Cool effect with the fire on the ice though. My favorite part and her least favorite. Go figure. Back to training today. We've been out of that for a couple of months. Good to get back in the routine. -Daniel

I'll be thinking about you tomorrow while you are on clear liquids. It wasnt' long ago i was drinking them for post op and pre op. Yours for a different reason but clear liquids are clear liquids. Good luck on Monday. Hope the go lightly is better than the fleet stuff.

Hello all! Been doing good up here in my neck of the woods...water, vits, eating, etc all have been good. Finally realized that I need new clothes...the ones I currently own now look like tents on me, so my mom and grandmother are taking me out this weekend for clothing options to last me at least a little while. My BF and I got pictures taken since this Sunday coming up is our 2 year anniversery. I love them too...I will try to post them on here today, if I get the time. Speaking of time, time for me to run my 9:00 crews out the door...it's so much more quiter in here without them! Les

Hi Terry, I don't have much time to post this AM. Can't even read everyone's posts right now. I have been super busy since 7:30. I got to work early today to make up some time. I have to leave early for a CT Scan. Doc is looking to see what that stomach pain was I had. Haven't had any pain since but it's better to be safe than sorry. Please say a prayer for me. I have a situation here at work. My boss decided not to go to a conference. I mixed up the cancellation deadline and missed it to get a refund of conference fees. Well, the company says he will have to pay it back. I am looking for someone else to replace him and then the conference will refund his money. Trouble is the conference begins next Tuesday. Yikes, a time crunch. I don't feel that my boss should have to pay for it when I made the mistake. He told me to check on when he has to make a final decision to cancel and I told him Nov 1. So he didn't decide for sure until last week. The deadline was Oct 16! I don't know how I made the error. I am just sick over this. I don't have the $829 to pay it back. I would appreciate any prayers. It's been a tough week. Even more stuff than what I mentioned above is going on but I won't bore you with the details. And to top it all off I have been a bottomless pit the past few days. I mean I am hungry! I don't know why. I am sure some of it is the stress of this week. I hope that everytime things get really stressful that this won't happen to me. I am working really hard to choose good foods but I feel like I am eating ALL the time. Gotta run. I hope you all have a great day. Thanks for listening to me whine. Hugs, Robin

Hi Robin, I hear you about that situation at work! I could easily see myself making the same kind of mistake. I sure hope it works out for you and your boss. I can imagine that it makes you just feel sick. It is hard to make good choices when you are feeling that stressed. My hope and prayer for you is that you will be able to forgive yourself and not hurt yourself over it. Good luck, I'll be thinking of you. Julie
