I started drinking more protein and eating protein again. Weighed last night at the gym, and I almost feel over. I'm down 7 pounds. Now I know what I have to do. Thanks to all of your for your support.

Way to go Stephanie. We really have to stick to a plan. The exercise really helps me out. I know it's making a difference and is helping me get the few lbs off each month that I am doing now. Robin

Great job. Could you possibly say what your average daily intake is? I think with my finally going to a formal gym that's I've messed things up. I have struggled this past two weeks for only a 1 lb loss. It seems strange to be more active yet not see any weight loss to reflect the additional mobility. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Robin (see you on the 19th).

I would say, i'm drinking Three Whey protein shakes a day. Each has 22 grams in it, with only 2 sugars. I eat a cheese stick or yoguart for a snack. For dinner I have been eating chicken or beef only. I would say some where near 90-100 a day. I think this has really helped me. And the gym too. Keep up the good work. It will pay off. I'm seeing that now.

Robin, keep in mind that muscle is heavier than fat. You'll probably see a difference in the tape measure or in your clothes before you see a change in the scale. Make sure you drink plenty of water to cleanse your kidneys of the "ash" created from fat burning. Joyce

Did you find that when you didn't take in the protein shakes that you weren't losing? I am 3-4 weeks out and can't find a protein drink i like. I am not supposed to be on solid foods yet but have been taking a little (can't fit much anyway) just to try and get some protein that way. Just got my hanks samples in the mail. I hope i like them! Great job on your success.
