Well the doc had me come in yesterday afternoon to have some of my fill taken out. 6ccs was just too much for me and they took out 2ccs. I wasn't getting ANY food or even WATER to stay down. Between my fill attempt on last Wednesday and the 2 cc unfill on Wednesday I had lost 10 (TEN) pounds! That is a total of 34 pounds in 6 weeks! I've been a very good girl, but I know that some of that 10 pounds was fluid from not drinking and puking for 2 days. So right after the unfill of 2 ccs I felt so good. I drank a bottle of water without trouble and then had some Taco Bell beans Today I managed to have some cottage cheese for breakfast and for lunch I had some chili and a junior frosty from Wendy's. Everything is back on track and I have some restriction from the 4 ccs left in my band. I'll go back for another fill before 2 months are up. So far so good! We are having a Halloween party tomorrow night and I can't wait! I'm going to be a fairy I've got black fantasy wings, black thigh highs w/ bows on the front and I'll wear that with a black skort and black top, but then my hair will be spiked with hot pink tips! I'm going to do some fancy makeup designs and glitter on my face. I LOVE HALLOWEEN!

Hi Heather Glad to hear you are doing better. Your symptoms sound like I did when I was having my stricture issues two years ago. The fairy costume sounds interesting ... sort of a 'naughty' sounding fairy tho! Hugs, Mo

Hi ya Mo! I guess OVER restriction and stricture sort of have the same meaning since the root word is "strict". hehehe It was downright awful, and it's amazing how quickly I felt better once she drew out 2 ccs! Well, the fairy outfit isn't too naughty, it's an adult and kiddie party. The thigh highs sound naughty, but I just really liked the bows

We dress up (well .. some of 'us' do) here in the office. I'm not much on really dressing up in the office for Halloween. I'll probably wear jeans and my boots and be a cowgirl or something. I am not exactly sure where to draw the line being a manager. My boss encourages me to be supportive of the staff, but I don't want to be too wild. I'm sure you will be an adorable fairy. Hugs, Mo

If we dressed up here, I'd come as a dryer sheet - I found really cool fabric at Joanne's and I'd pin odd socks and dryer lint to it. Or, I've always wanted to be Tippi Hedren from The Birds - after her eyes were pecked out. I thought I'd tease my hair and put blood on my face and pin some birds in my hair!!! Actually, some people I work with DO dress like it's Halloween every day!!! Sorry, I'll leave now.... Tia "And the Great Pumpkin will rise from the pumpkin patch with his bag of toys to distribute to all the good girls and boys...." Good grief!!!

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww @ the BIRDS ... I saw that movie in H.S. and was traumatized. I had to walk home from school and you should have seen me ducking from the birds overhead.

It's my favorite holiday! Just fun dressing up and not having to be yourself for a few hours! We have a halloween party and contest at work but there is no way I'm wearing this to work because you have to parade in front of everyone to earn points for the contest!

Hi Heather - That's great that you feel better - what a relief for you! I did LOTS of Taco Bell beans when I was on pureed - much better than just plain old soup! The Halloween party sounds like it'll be a lot of fun! Take pictures of your fairy costume! Have a great weekend, Tia

I am so glad to read that you are feeling so much better after removing 2 cc's. Wow 10 pounds in just a few days poor girl. But I know you must be loving being on the losing side. I hope you post some pictures! I love halloween too! Have fun. Cira

Heather, glad to hear that your feeling better. Have a great time at your Halloween party. We would love to see some pics! Wish someone would pick up the ball down here on the Southern end and throw a rip-roaring Halloween party. I know I'd love it. The cutest costume I've seen is a "Deviled-egg". Saw it at Walmart. The body is an egg and you have devil horns on your head. Made perfect sense to me, but many people were stumped by it. TraciL
