Terry, I have good news. I found this on the Farmer's Almanac website under "Folklore." Yes, there's hope for us, and yes, I have too much time on my hands!!! ? Husband Search According to some tales, if, on Halloween night, a girl puts a sprig of rosemary and a silver coin under her pillow, she will see her future husband in a dream. Now, with my luck, the silver coin will make my skin turn green and the rosemary will actually be poison ivy. I don't know that I've ever dreamed of my future husband, but I HAVE dreamed of the Colonel wearing red, footed-pj's!!! Does that count???!!! BTW, I found a recipe for Red Lobster's Cheddar Bay Biscuits - might have to give them a try for Halloween. Tia

I'd settle for having the future husband under the pillow and dreaming about the silver coin/rosemary...hehe LOL@the colonel...was he wearing Santa hat? Oh cool about the cheddar biscuits...yummy! I had something good last week in Williamsburg I had THE BEST cornbread at this one place we ate at..it was Sweet Potato Cornbread. You almost couldn't taste the sweet potato (it wouldn't have mattered either way because i love sweet potatoes) but the cornbread was so moist and slightly sweet. I was thinking about looking for a recipe for that for next time I make chili. With the weather cooling off, it could be anytime now. T

Nope, no Santa hat!! He laughed when I told him about it and said, "Was I sleeping?" and when I told him no, he said, "Well, I'm glad I was awake," and I said, "And I'm glad you were dressed!!!" If you had the husband under the pillow, that would probably mean that you were holding the pillow over him!!!! I LOVE sweet potatoes, too and that cornbread sounds yummy. Since I'm off next week, I want to cook, cook, cook, but first I have to clean, clean, clean. Actually, in cook, cook, cook, you can insert shop wherever necessary! T.

Hmm...yummy. Hey, do ya want me to bring that on Halloween? That way you're not doing cornbread (which I think you mentioned at some point) and the cheesy biscuits? Let me know. Oh hey....I didn't say what part of said hubby would be under the pillow....hehehe. T

Terry, Check out Super Fresh for corn bread. They have the BEST pre-made corn bread. Very moist and sweet too. My mother buys it all the time, but it can be hard to find because it goes fast. Also, Safeway has a ChiChi's corn cake mix that is really good. I prefer corn cake to corn bread. It's softer and scoopable. Heather
