My wow moment.
I have been home from the hospital for 1 week tomorrow, I lost 20 lbs before surgery and have lost 9 since. Ok here is the WOW...........I asked my DH to show me what 29 lbs looked like. He brought out his bar-bells, equalling 30 lbs. It was so heavy, I was shocked beyound belief. I walked today and noticed that my knees with arthritis didn't hurt as bad. NO DARN WONDER..... go hold 30 lbs. Wonder what my knees will feel like with 100 lbs. off. I might float away.
Margie that is great. I know how you feel when I was down 50 pounds my stepdad made me a duffle bag full of stuff that equaled to 50 pounds and I was shocked beyond belief. So good for your knees. I have noticed lately that my back doesnt hurt when I stand for a period of time. Well take care and see you next week

Margie -
Yay for you! Isn't it a wonderful feeling? When I lost 130 pounds, I realized that that was the weight of my niece. Now, I couldn't pick her up, so how in the world did I carry all that extra weight???? It's amazing how this can put things into perspective for you!
Keep up the great work,
Tia
Margie,

I am new and I am waiting to here if my insurance will approve the surgery. I am in awe how all of you wonderful ladies have so much courage. Please rub off some of that courage this way please!
Take care and best wishes to you.
