Hey everyone. I hope we are all well today. It is supposed to be another nice day. Too bad I have to spend it indoors. I do plan on going for a walk at lunch so I should get to enjoy the sunshine then. Not much going on today. I am going to get the final touches for a trip together. It'll be a nice quiet day so I should get alot done there. I am hoping to get on track with my water and eating today. I have been very tired lately. I think it's from not getting enough protein. I really did not want to exercise this morning. The entire time I was working out I wanted to quit and go back to bed. I didn't though so I guess that counts for something. I wanted to cry by the end of my session because I feel as if I am not improving at all. It is still so hard to do the outer thigh leg lifts and glutes leg lifts. I don't think my muscles have gotten stronger at all. I am supposed to see my exercise therapist next month. Maybe he can help me figure out a way to really progress so I can see and FEEL results. I can't give up though. I know that if I do nothing then I won't have a chance at improving. If I keep trying the maybe eventually my body will improve. This weekend is Homecoming for Stephanie. She wasn't going to get to go at first. She didn't get a ticket in time. One of her friends boyfriend has to work so she is giving Steph her ticket. Cool! I am happy for her. They are really having fun with Spirit week. They dressed in their class colors today. They decorated shirts to show their school spirit. Everyone at the school looked so nice. I am glad they are enjoying this time of their lives. It all goes away too quickly. I am planning on cleaning house and hopefully going to the thrift store this weekend. I really need to find pants that I don't have to take up 4-6 inches in the waist to be able to wear them. One good note...I put on the size 20 jeans that my daughter gave me. They were skin tight a few weeks ago, wouldn't even keep my bum covered when I sat down. Last night I wore them and they were loose!!! Yay! I love that! All of my 20's are too big now. So I guess there is some improvement, just not a lot of strength improvement. Have a wonderful day! Hugs, Robin

Fitting in and out of clothes is an amazing thing isn't it Robin? I went "shopping" in my closet a month ago and have been wearing pants that I thought I would never shrink out of. Now I'm putting another notch in my belt to keep them up. Good times.

Thanks Mo. One of those things where I've been staying away from pictures of myself til I crossed the 100 lb. lost mark. I now I've been losing, but it's so hard to see it until you are faced with the evidence. It is, if I may borrow a phrase from my 4 year old, super duper.

Hi Robin Finally got a chance to sit for a minute and check the board before I rush off again. Instead of watching Y & R with the gang in the lunch room, I'm eating here at my desk because I'll be on to the afternoon's meeting at 1:10. My 3 day class was compressed to 2 days, then they managed to get it all into one day yesterday, so today is a 'bonus' day for me. Means I can attend to meetings that I thought I would miss. Later I have to set up a laptop for someone so they can work from home. I'm getting good at doing that. I hope this one goes as smoothly. I have my PC at home set up, and d/l the client to set up my laptop, but haven't finished my own laptop yet. Tomorrow I need to put my thoughts together from the COOP training (having to do with a 'continuation of operations' plan) so that I can start getting input from the department managers for their respective areas. This is a long term project but I've got to have stuff ready for the first meeting which is less than 3 weeks from now, and I'll miss most of next week out of the office. Saturday I'll be figuring out what I am taking to Chicago. I need to pick a 'color' plan so I can mix and match and not have to take 3 complete outfits or have some flexibility if I decide I don't want to wear what I planned to wear. My flight is EARLY on Sunday (well .. 7:50 a.m. which is not so early, but I'll have to be to the airport early). I still haven't figured out if Mr Mo is taking me or if I am calling the airport shuttle. He should be able to take me, but it's the picking me up on Wednesday night that is kind of a problem. I don't get bac****il almost 9:30 and he'll be fussing about being up that late. (we won't even mention that he should be 'happy' to come get me .. since he will have 'missed' me ) Ok, need to do a couple of more things here before I wander back down the hall. Have a wonderful Thursday. Hugs, Mo

Oops! I missed morning. So, I'll say Good Afternoon. I hope all is well with everyone. I'm still losing. It's been a minutes since I stopped by but I just wanted to say Hello to everyone. I'm almost 2 months out Post-Op and I'm feeling great. I wish the best to those about to undergo surgery and I wish continued success to those that are Post-Op. Syd
