Hi! from New Member

I should have put HOPING to have the sleeve gastrectomy. My insurance is saying they will not cover it. Dr. Greene is writing a letter to substaintiate why I need this vs. the gastric bypass. I've been approved for the gastric bypass by my insurance. Very frustrating to me. This whole insurance thing has been an emotional roller coaster. What surgery did you have? I am planning on being at the meeting Sunday. Linda

Hopefully your insurance will cover the surgery based on Dr. Greene's letter. I had the RNY 2 weeks ago and feeling pretty good. I still get tired at times. Look for me at Sunday's meeting! Elizabeth
