Good Morning Maryland! How is everybody this morning? I'm doing pretty well after getting home from Williamsburg much later than I had planned last night. I got home around 10:45 and then unpacked and fell into bed. It was a great trip spending time with two of my oldest g/f's. We shopped til we dropped on Friday and yesterday. Saturday was spent at Busch Gardens from opening at 10am until about 10:15pm. I had never been to Busch Gardens so it was really an adventure for me. One thing I noticed is that I was able to go longer and do more since losing this weight. I would've probably spent the same amount of time there pre-weight loss, but wouldn't have covered nearly as much ground and would've had to keep stopping to rest on a bench. It was chilly on Saturday and I like to froze my butt off. I purchased a long sleeg tshirt and put it on underneath my two sweatshirts and I was still somewhat chilly. Yesterday was much more tolerable. We discovered a huge and I mean HUGE Yankee Candle Shop on Richmond Road (Rte. 60). For years I have wanted to get a large Yankee Candle but I've always been too frugal to spring for it. Well, they had a special where if you purchased 3 of the large housewarmer candles (usually $22 each), you could get 3 of them for $55. So I sprung for two everyday candles that I really like the scent of and one for the holidays (called Christmas Eve). I purchased a few Christmas gifts in my travels. I was also able to purchase six glasses that match my set (that has long since been discontinued). I didn't find them at the Pottery but I found them in a place called "The Bottom Line:, which is kind of like Big Lots/Ollies. I was psyched because I really like these glasses and I don't like anything that I've currently seen "out there". I also got a raincoat at the Totes outlet. I've got to try any clothes that I buy on just because the sizes vary so much. So I've been wearing anything from a 14/16 - 18/20. I tried on the XL coat and it was big. So I thought well I'll try the L...it fit!!! (was even a little big, but I figure that's room to put another sweater/sweatshirt/jacket on underneath this coat for a little more warmth). Eating wise I did okay this weekend. Not terrific, but not horrible. I found myself munching on trail mix a little more than I would've liked to. I got all my water/protein and supplements in. I walked, walked, walked....but haven't been to the gym since last Wednesday so that's on my agenda this evening. So what's up in your world? How was your weekend? How goes the fluids/protein/supplements/eating and exercise??? Have a Great Day! Terry

Good morning! Boy is it a Monday. That's not a bad thing. Let's just say that I can't spell or type for anything today. LOL Terry, sounds like you had a lot of fun. I am glad. I had a so so weekend. On Saturday we got our windshield fixed and then I went to curves. That's the first time I have had a chance to go there in almost 3 weeks. I have been working out on my own but knowing I am paying for curves and not using it really bugs me. Then I took a nice early afternoon nap. Afterwards I took all of my girls shopping. Stephanie and her friend wanted to look for homecoming dresses at Target, Ross & Walmart. Meghan and her friend went to the Mall in Columbia. I of course was driving them all around town. It was fun though. Steph and her friend didn't find any dresses but then they weren't stressing about it anyway. Didn't really buy anything but it was fun to be out with them. Sunday was church and then I went home and literally sat on my behind. Oh, except for the little bit of time that Stephanie and I went to a college fair. We gathered info on colleges that might interest her. This is going to happen way to fast for me. I told her that I would be very emotional about this whole thing and to make sure she chose where she wanted and didn't worry about mom, because it doesn't matter where she goes, I will be emotional about it all! Then I took another nap on Sunday PM and didn't do much more of anything. I felt very lazy but I enjoyed it. I didn't eat right all weekend. I munched here and there. I tried to make sure it was protein but I did have a bite of everyones muffins and a few pieces of sour patch kids candy. Yum. Oh and I also had a bite-size Snickers bar. Way too bad this weekend. I also didn't get in my water but I am making up for that today. I don't know what it is about the weekends but I get so off kilter and then wonder why I am so exhausted by Sunday afternoon. Well, gotta run. Going to be a busy day today. Hope everyone's Monday is great. Hugs, Robin
