Weekend update

Hi there Well, it's coming up on 9:30 p.m. Sunday night. This is the end of vacation. Tomorrow we will pack up the RV and head back to Maryland. It's been a very relaxing week. We didn't do much running around at all. A couple of friends came mid afternoon yesterday before the race and we walked over to the souvenier trailers. I have a feeling if they hadn't come by we would have skipped the trailers all together. The weather has been nice during the day .. if you stay in the sun you could get by with a tee shirt .. BUT soon as the sun went down it got chilly in a hurry. I was so well layered at the race I felt like the Michelin man Poncho and Lefty have had a good trip too. Poncho has discovered hanging out on the back of the sofa and watching the world go by the window. He was particularly fascinated by dogs ... Lefty FINALLY figured out the step thing to get himself up on the sofa. I missed it because I was napping on the sofa, but he walked up the step onto the sofa all by himself. I'm sure by the time we go out again in May he will have totally forgotten how to do that. We will probably try to be on the road by 10 tomorrow a.m. That will take us by DC on the beltway at a REALLY obnoxious time, but at least we should sort of be going against the flow of traffic in Northern VA.
