Tia, I love my Kitchenaid! I can make my carrot cake in so much less time now between that and my food processor. I used to grate the carrots by hand and use the old mixer and now I just throw it all in. WOOHOO! My mother bought herself the red one - with the largest bowl and I inherited her white one with the regular bowl; which is still really big.

Hey Heather - Actually, we just had to play "Taps," for our 30 year old Sunbeam last year!!! It was my grandmother's and while I hated to get rid of it, I am such a gadget-aholic that I was doing the happy dance at the prospect of getting a new one!!! I have always loved red kitchen appliances. They are so pretty. I love red! Someday I'll get a kitcheaid mixer. And it'll be nice and bright red.

Hey There Everybody! I'm picking my head up out of the ditch I've been working in all morning. Man, I got into work this morning and it's like all hell has broken loose. It's a busy time of year anyway, but today is like a bunch of @#$% hit the fan. Nobody's angry, just a bunch of work to get done with immediate deadlines. I haven't had much time to read the board today. Congrats on the mixer G/F! I know you'll love it as much as I love mine.
