Road trip - Monday!

Hey there The weather started out a bit overcast this morning, but turned into a glorious day. We got a late start .. didn't leave the RV til almost 11:30 and headed to DEI to see what was there this trip. They always have wonderful displays of Dale Earnhardt memorabilia. I didn't think the display this time was as good as some of them have been but it was still good. Then we took a scenic ride to Lexington (NC) to the Childress Winery. Had a late lunch about 2 and then picked up our wine shipment and a couple of bottles of wine. A trip through a WalMart and Sam's finished off our day. When we got back we got out the patio stuff and set up outside. The boys are being well behaved. Poncho is his usual nosy self and Lefty is a sleepy butt. No plans for tomorrow. Will probably just play it by ear and see what we feel like doing. I have the urge to go walk around Concord Mills. Hugs, Mo

Glad your having a great time and that the weather is cooperating. We're getting rain Wednesday - hope your not. Hubby and I and our youngest son are heading to Vermont this coming Thursday evening for my eldest sons parent weekend at his University (last one, he graduates in May). Can't wait!!! Morning Traci I heard this a.m. that it is supposed to storm here tomorrow so it will be a day closed up in the RV with Mr Mo and the cats!!! Saturday the high is supposed to be 60 but sunny. I think it will probably be a *****illy at the race but I'll dress WARM. Enjoy your trip to VT. Hope there is still some Fall color up there for you to enjoy on your way. Hugs, Mo

Hey Traci - Oooohh, Vermont!!! I've never been up north, but have always wanted to go. I hope you have a great time and a safe trip. I bet it's gonna be cold up there, since it's supposed to be chilly here. The colors should be glorious!!! Morning Mo - I'm sooooo envious - but happy for you!! I'd love to be able to just "run away" for a bit. The only problem is, you gotta come back! Glad to hear all 3 boys are behaving. Now that the boys come with us, it would be easy not to come back!!! But then we would run out of $$$ eventually, so I guess we do have to go back. Mr Mo put something in the way to block Poncho's access to the dash ... so far it's worked. Hugs, Mo
