Good Monday Morning Everybody! How is everyone today? Wasn't yesterday beautiful? Almost makes up for Thursday, Friday and Saturday Morning being rainy and cold. So how was your weekend, what's up in your world? My weekend was busy, busy, busy. The party turned out great, and when the time came to clean up, everybody pitched in and we were cleaned up and out of there in no time. Didn't do much yesterday, went to church and then ran a few errands. I'm ticked at myself though. I have been cold at night so I went and bought a new comforter ($50). So I get home and open the package and of course it smells like the dye they used to color it. I decide I'm going to wa**** (ok, no problem there). I have a front loading space age looking kinda machine so it fits in there. So I noticed when I put it in, that the door on the machine didn't want to shut right. I looked (and thought) the door was clear so I just slammed it and it stayed shut the 2nd time. Oh how I wish I had taken the time to really look and see what had made it not shut to begin with. Evidently a small piece of the comforter was caught in the door. So when the cycle is done and I go to remove the comforter I find that my beautiful new comforter has oh, about 4 rips in it and some of the stuffing has come out...I could kick myself in the @ss!!! pardon the profanity, but I am really ticked at myself. So if I want the comforter (which I do from a functional and decorating sense - it's purple (hear that Tia ) and matches my bedroom decor) I'm gonna have to plunk down another $50.00. I had a friend suggest taking the comforter back to the store, but I just can't in good conscience do that. If I had any inkling that it came out of the package like that I would do that, but I know it happened in the washer. Other than what will henceforth be known as "the comforter episode" my day was great. Eating has been good, protein good. The past few days I've been so busy that my fluids have not been what they usually are, and at first I thought I had not met my quota of fluids, but when I think about it, I got in at least 64oz each day so I didn't do bad on that. I did not get a chance to workout on Friday/Saturday or Sunday. Even though I didn't work out, I don't feel too bad because I was on the go constantly, it's not like I was sitting on the couch eating bon-bons. I am getting back on track this week. The scale has not moved at all, but it's shifting. I am going to make up a food journal so that I can really keep track of calories and carbs, etc. I'm making broiled crabcakes for dinner and I'm working out tonight (sans my personal trainer since my pocketbook is begging for mercy)...hehe. One good thing, the porch is done (well almost). They have ordered the railings, so they'll be out to put them on when they come in. The only other thing is they had to break the concrete for footers and then had to fill it and the concrete doesn't match. It's never going to match...so I see a concrete painting job in Terry's future. That's okay, I'm trying to find something that's neutral and looks like sand or something...we'll see. It's like Rosanna Rosannadanna used to say - It's always something! Have a Geat Day Everybody! Take Care, Terry

Good morning Terry and everyone! Sound like you had a good weekend Terry. I am glad the party went well. It's always nice when clean-up goes so quickly. Sorry about the comforter. It can be really tought to find matching stuff so I know it must be a disappointment to have to buy another one. I went to the Darlington Apple Festival this Sat. It was really nice. The weather was icky in the morning but by the time I got to the festival the rain had stopped. It was sure muddy but still fun to go. I enjoyed looking at all the different craft booths. I was not a good girl though. I bought some whoopie pies from the Amish, they are sooo yummy. They make pumpkin and chocolate. So I bought them "for my family". I ended up eating on over the weekend. It took me two days to eat it but still, I shouldn't have had it at all. Sure was good though! Bad bad Robin. I also went to fashion bug and bought some tops on sales. I bought all size 14/16, even the button up blouse!! That was so cool. I found a blouse to match a skirt that I love and had altered to fit me now (was size 26), so it was nice to wear it. Kinda cool too cuz my kids and a few other people said that I am getting so skinny. Me, skinny??!! If felt so good to hear that. Even though I don't see it or believe it, yet. I'll keep working at it though. Sunday I spent the day cleaning so I could decorate for fall. So Terry has her "comforter episode", well, I have my fall deco episode. I got out the box, opened it up and wa**** with a horrible wrenching smell of mold! Seems that the gourds I bought last fall rotted and grew mold all over my stuff. EVERYTHING, my swags, my horn of plenty, plastic fruit, door wreath, flowers, porcelain figures/houses, EVERYTHING!!! I got all the porcelain stuff out and bleached it so I was able to save those, so far. The rest of my stuff along with the box went out in the trash. I was sorely disappointed. I didn't think that those things would rot. They were hard as rocks when I put them away last year. I guess they didn't dry out afterall. I told my hubby that I'll have to just go shopping. He said "I don't know about that." Poor guy, I spend it all before he has a chance to even read his paystub. Choking down some yogurt with protein powder in it. I have learned, thanks to fitday.com, that I am not getting anywhere near enough protein and I am getting way too much fat in the protein I am eating. I haven't been eating low fat cheese and or mayonaise so that all really adds up with my lunchmeat and chicken salad. Yikes. I have got to make a few changes. Maybe that's why I am not losing right now. (although I think I have lost 3-4 since the scale has read the same for a few days now.) I am gonna keep watching it to see what I can change and hopefully do much better. Sorry to be so long winded. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Robin

Hiya Terry Not morning any more but I'm here !! Hugs, Mo P.S. You are right .. freaky end to yesterday's race. I've not thought too much of Vickers since the stunt he pulled to get into the All Star Race a couple of years ago .. NOW I really don't think much of him at all. It's not even that I am a Jr fan .. it's being a racing fan . it was a CHEAP shot!
