Crofton Library meeting

Everything sounds great to me. I came online tonight to suggest a church. I know there is the big one just off of Rt 3 when you come out on the back road you go by the pond with the ducks,ect... I don't know the area well but I am game for whatever. I am looking forward to it. I have been out to restaurants too.The meal usually last for 3-4 meals plus dog treats LOL so whatever you all decide I am ok with.Maybe everyone can check out their idea and prices ect... and post them and we can pick the most convienant place.Money may be an issue for some too. I know my surgery was out of pocket and I still have bills so I couldn't do big deposits but I could afford dinner esp. since a side salad or soup can be dinner if I want .I don't know the Bowie area at all or where we are all coming from. Hi laurie how are you doing? well I like the resturant idea but I am thinking of the newbies who just had surgery Heather had hers on the 3rd and margie is having hers friday I think. I just dont want them to worry about a resturant so soon. I have been talking to Sue T and she suggested the Bowie city hall. So she called and gave me some info and im waiting to hear back from them so I will let you and everyone know as soon as we have a date. I can meet you at jaspers if thats were we decide to have it. But I will let you know as soon as possible. I just called the lady and she was at lunch so. To be contunied........ (lol) Take care and have a great day kelly

Hey all, I'm good with anywhere....resturant, city hall, church....anything. It'll just be good to see everyone. My parents have been eating 'normal' food in front of me and I'm not bothered so what ever is easiest is fine with me. That way I at least know what to look forward to months out LOL Hope everyone is having a great day! ~Heather

Just a thought...I haven't 'officially' joined your group, but live in Bowie and am interested. Safeway (both in Bowie and Crofton I believe) has a community meeting room.

Hi Jane and welcome to our group. Myself and Sue T are going up to Bowie City Hall today and check there dates for October and November. I have the Crofton branch Library for Dec 2006 all the way to Decmber 2007. They just didnt have it for October and November. So I will post it when I return with the dates and times. Kelly, What days did you set up for DEC 2006 - DEC 2007? Just wanted to mark up my calendar. Sorry I didn't get back with the info on the Nautalis, been a little busy lately. Yes I've been there and it's great. I haven't been back this week though so I wasn't able to get additional info. I think you probably have enough suggestions right now (between Bowie Town Center and even Safeway). Let me know if there is anything else you might need help with. Thanks, Robin
