Well everyone I don't know what to do about the meetings for october and november. The library is making me nervous because they said we could use the back as long as we dont get to loud but they have a magazine room in the back thats closed off and when I called to get the 2007 dates scheduled I double checked to make sure we could sit in there and he told me no because that is a quit area and they dont use that for meeting rooms. (well if no one is in there I do not see a problem but they did) so then i thought well my house but my parking is crazy and I dont want you all to have to walk a block or 2 so does anyone have ideas? We have a December date for the 21st and then I have all the 2007 dates. If you have any Ideas or suggestions please let me know. I appriciate it. Hope everyone is having a good weekend and have a great week

Hey Kelly, Are there any local churches that would allow us to meet there? I don't know what is in that area but it's a thought... ~Heather

Thanks Kelly I appreciate that. I'm feeling pretty good today and think I will be getting back to my normal self more and more soon. I hate relying on my parents to help me with anything...but one nice surprise was my sister...she actually came to the hospial with me and my mom and she was kind and supportive. I guess she realized I needed it. Have a great and happy day tomorrow! ~Heather

Thats great you are feeling good. And your sister is great too for showing her support even thought she may not agree with you. But thats good she is there for you. Its hard to rely on other people when you are independent. But its also kinda nice. I miss it a little . But I will post it when I have a place or another issue. Take care and rest up

Hi Kelly and Heather! Kelly, whatever works out. Even a restaurant would be a nice change in atmosphere. Just keep me posted and I'll let Sue know. Heather, glad to see you posting and that your feeling good. Also, it's wonderful that your sis came through for you. I believe that she was just scared and showing it in a very unsupportive way. Seeing you feeling great and healing should do wonders for her outlook. Take it easy! TraciL

I'm looking forward to being able to attend anywhere even it it's only for an hour or so (I still have to leave by 7:15). The church is fine with me as well. I'm just sitting back and letting most of you make a decision here since you'll be there for the whole time frame and I'm only going to be there for an hour or so. For those interested in a restaurant, there is a new place that opened up called the Nautilus Dinner (right across from the Kmart Shopping Center). They have an area on the right hand side of the dinner that has its own interior door which means we wouldn't disturb other guests (holds approximately 30 or so people). If we can get or call and see if they take reservations that might work or have us all attempt to be there no later then a given time frame. They don't like to sit anyone till your entire party gets there. Only problem I see is the size of the meals. They are huge so most of us would have to share a meal or take home leftovers (which I always do). They have basic meals for around $13.00 - $15.00 (London broil, meatloaf, turkey with stuffing, veal parm w/spaghetti, etc.). All meals include cup of soup or salad, potato (mash, fries, or backed), and vegetable (except the parm w/spaghetti it comes with a salad or you can swap for a potato (mashed, fries, backed)). And of course there are other meals that go higher in price (most are stuffed with crab meat and such). The food is great! They always have at least two types of soup (chicken noodle, crab, etc.) one of which is usually a fish type. If you want I can try and call the dinner and see if they take reservations for a party of 10 or more for that closed off room. If we all wish to tail gate, we can always meet in the parking lot below the Nautilus dinner (there is a huge parking area below the dinner). I mean we can always bring lawn chairs (weather permitting). Only problem here might be restroom issues. Again, anywhere we can meet is fine with me. Just thought I'd though up a few suggestions. That sounds like a good idea robin thanks. Have you eaten at that diner yet? Let me know then I can post a new bullitin and see if everyone is up to it maybe a friday night or something. I am just worried about the newbies coming to the resturant because heather just had hers and margies is coming up. Well see how they feel and if they want to bring something they know they can have. I had to do that when I went to a wedding 3 weeks after. LOL. I brought my lunch bag. Well have a great night talk to you soon kelly

Hi Kelly, I have an idea about a meeting place...what about Bowie City Hall? They require a deposit that is returned after your meeting (in case of damages) and I wouldn't mind putting down the deposit. They have a conference room that will hold between 10 - 20 people with tables and chairs arranged however we like, ie conference style, seminar style, etc. . We would just have to go to Bowie City Hall in person to make the arrangements. What do you think? Sue

Hi Sue-That would sound good. I do not know where that is. I am pretty sure that wouldnt be a problem. I like the resturant idea but we have 2 newbies. One just had surgery a week ago and another that is having it in a few days so I just wouldnt want to make them feel uncomfortable at a resturant. Do you know what the deposit is? We would need a october and november date. I have the Library booked for Dec 2006 to Dec 2007. They just didnt have october and november. Thank you so much for giving this idea. If you dont mind putting the deposit down that would be great. Thank you again so much. So I guess if you dont mind calling them and seeing what they have for october and november. we only need it for like 2 hours. Please email me with the info and everything and we can take it from there. My personal email address is [email protected]. Thank you so much for the idea Take Care Kelly
