How's That Tuesday View Lookin' for You?

Hello everyone! Doing fine up here in White Marsh so far today. I soooo do not want to be at work today! It is such a pretty day out and I got good sleep in last night, so all I want to do is go outside and enjoy the weather. Maybe since I worked late yesterday, I can get off a few hours early Guess it is going to be that way since I don't have a boss for the rest of the week YESSSS!! I'm trying to hide my happiness over that! I think I will go for a walk this afternoon and then I have plans with some of my girlfriends for some good ol' down and dirty BINGO! LOL, we are always the youngest ones there, but we have a good time. Everyone enjoy this day...if you have widows open em up, it is going to be refreshing! Leslie

Hey Les - Pls. see previous posts - raining, sun, snow, sleet, I NEVER want to be at work. My philosophy is, "A bad day at home is better than a good day at work!!!" Ooohhh, bingo - where do you play? Mom & I LOVE Bingo, but it seems like we never have the time. Windows? What are they? I can't complain, I have a private office with individually controlled heat and a/c, but I still miss windows. Probably a good thing I don't have them, though, because some days......!!! Morning T - Pineapple upside down cake or not, I NEVER want to get up!! I have to admit, it's easier now that I've lost weight - I, too, have much more energy - except now I channel it differently, so I'm STILL always tired. It's a productive tired, though, which is what I think yours is. I had a really crazy busy weekend, so I didn't see if you posted that the porch is done. Can't wait to see it!!! What kind of party are you catering for your friend? Food, etc. I was off on Friday, so Mom & I ran around like nuts, did some shopping, etc., same on Saturday and Sunday!!! Gary & I went to dinner on Saturday and then did some Christmas shopping!! YIKES! Monday, I was off, too, so it was a stay home, do laundry, cook, type kind of day. Same old thing in my little world - no news is good news!! This weekend we have the kids, so they're getting haircuts on Saturday and we're going to see "Open Season." Then on Sunday, we're going to the zoo - can't wait to see the prairie dogs! Monday's a State holiday, so I get to sleep in - at least a little!! WOO-HOO!!! Have a great rest of the week! Tia

Hey, I didn't post about the porch being finished because I didn't know it was getting THAT close until I came home last night and the gutter/downspouts were up and they took all the construction stuff off of the lawn. The inspector was there this morning and passed it for what's been done so far, but I'm not sure it's the "Final" inspection. We'll see, it's getting close though! The party this weekend is a 50th birthday party that my friend Chris's husband is throwing for her. I volunteered to help get it together and do the food. I'm doing pork bbq, pit beef, kaiser rolls, potato salad, coleslaw, cheeseball, cheese/veggie tray and tossed salad (I figure I need to include something healthy here....hehehe). It should be fun. I made favors out of the hershey's chunks candy bars - made wrappers that say "Christine 50 years of magnificence" and I did them in different shades of purple. Her hubby can't be too bad, he picked out the theme color of purple. So I'll be running around on Friday buying the food for Saturday and Saturday I'll be cooking. It should be a good time. Christmas Shopping?? Wow, and here I thought I was the early bird getting some stuff a few weeks ago. I just got some stocking stuffer type stuff. I don't like to wait to the last minute when everything is picked over and I truly like to get things that my family finds useful/neat. I'm glad to see you on here today. I was beginning to wonder and if I hadn't seen you post I was going to call to make sure you were alright (since you said you were tired when we talked last week I thought maybe it had gotten worse). I'm working late tonight and I"ll be in here early tomorrow to make up for the time I'm missing from today. But at least I got everything done today. It was bugging me all the little things I needed to do. I've got a hair appt. tomorrow afternoon (yeah, thank you Miss Clairol! hehehe) and Thursday is my last session with the personal trainer (for now). My budget can't afford anymore sessions for awhile. I'll just have to buck up and do it alone...sniff...hehe The movie and the zoo trip sounds cool You have a great week too! T
