Good morning It's PAYDAY and the $$ is all gone already. I had to pay our property taxes this a.m. so things are bleak already! Good thing one or the other of us gets paid each week. (we are both on a bi-weekly pay schedule and the pay weeks offset each other). Had my hair done last night .. the blonde roots touched up and about an inch cut off the length. It seemed to grow awfully fast in the last 6 weeks. I think it's the vitamins and the protein supplement that does it. I keep thinking I want to do something 'dramatic' with my hair to change the style, but having it long-ish and one length is so easy when I want to just put it up or pull it back. I would hate to have to really 'fuss' with it every day and run the risk of a 'bad' hair day. The storm hit just about the time I got home from my hair appointment and I wimped out on going dancing. I just didn't really want to drive all that way by myself in the rain. So I missed the 'last' night in Pasadena. I guess now I will have to try to find a new place to go. When I get my Moose card I can go to the Glen Burnie Moose with the q-tips!!! Ok, busy day here so I'm off like a herd of turtles! Have a wonderful Friday. Hugs, Mo

I wi**** was pay day...lol, got to wait next week for my money. Ah well, I got my short-term disablity check last night, so that $$ should hold me over for awhile (hold me over meaning I can do some SHOPPING!)! I swear I don't crave sweets during PMS, I crave to shop Slow day planned here for me. I don't have to go to the main office for anything. My schedule is full, so no possiblity of me going on a call. I just get to sit back and stup-ivise. Tomorrow I am working on the road here at work. Rumor has it that none of the dispatchers want to run me on calls cause it is rare that a manager goes on the road, so it should be an easy overtime day for me! Have a great Friday. Les

The money I do have left from today I need to horde for vacation because I KNOW I'll want to be shopping in NC and I'll have a week there before another payday hits. Take it easy tomorrow! Hugs, Mo

Good Friday Morning Mo. That was some storm. You know I am still amazed by thunder and lightening. For four years in California, we never had thunder or lightening storms. Something about the mountains but they just don't get thunderstorms there. The first time we had one here was really facinating for me. I know, I am a bit of a weird-o. I actually opened my curtains to watch the storm. I love the rain at night. Of course that is when I am in my warm jammies and in my nice dry, warm house. I am still trying to get up the nerve to call and make a hair appt. I really need to go shorter (not too short though) because of the hair loss. My curls look so thin and when I put my hair up I have to try and cover up what look like bald spots. They aren't really bald but extremely thin. So I hope my hair dresser can help me find something cute and not too fussy. I don't like spending a lot of time on my hair. 10 minutes is the most I like to spend. Happier with less! Well, I am participating in the Walk From Obesity in Siver Spring tomorrow. I hope I can do it. I am exercising pretty good but 2 miles is a lot to think about. Maybe I'll be so busy listen to others and having fun to really notice. I don't walk very fast but I have been able to walk for 45 minutes with a lot of sweating but not breathing too hard. So perhaps it won't be so bad. I am hoping to get some housework done this weekend. I feel like the place is a total wreck. It really gets to me when it gets like that. I am not a very neat person at all but I don't like a lot of clutter and I can't stand dirty floors or toilets. If I get it done I'll be so peaceful. ahhh. I had better get back to work. Oh, my sweet husband sent me two dozen roses yesterday for my b-day. He isn't really a flower giving guy so when I got them I was totally surprised. They smell so wonderful and they came in a pretty RED glass vase. I love red and that's the reason my hubby chose the flowers. He knows me pretty well. Hugs, Robin

Good Morning Everybody! Running late here today and I've been swamped since I got into the office. Isn't it beautiful out today?! I love Thunderstorms Robin, so I can totally relate to sitting there watching. I was so psyched last night...I opened my front door and was able to go out it without getting wet (because of the new porch!). The unfortunate thing is I had to go out in the storm to go to choir practice. It wasn't too bad. (Hey, sure beats a snow storm!). Robin, I didn't recall it was your birthday until you mentioned your roses (I think you may have mentioned your birthday at our crab outing)...Happy Belated Birthday! Have a great day! Terry

I posted this a.m. before I heard about the weather 'event' in Severna Park last night. I am REALLY glad I didn't go out last night after all. I would have been passing right through the area that the tornados set down right about the time they were in the area. We are going to the Mets-Nats game tomorrow night at RFK stadium so I haven't made any plans for the day time hours. Sunday I'll spend getting things in the RV ready to to leave next weekend. I walked 35 minutes at lunch. My walking buddy at work likes walking but isn't so much on pace and she commented today that I set a fairly stiff pace for her. If I am out walking to walk I really move right along. If I am at the mall or just browsing I can amble but not when I'm trying to exercise. Have fun tomorrow! Hugs, Mo

Best of luck on the walk, Robin! You'll do great and the two miles will fly. Also, birthday wishes coming your way. TraciL
