Not Siberia - but close!!! Now he's on this, "I don't want any women" kick, and the last couple "older" women he's dated have been I want that to happen when the time is right - and so do you - so I have to bide my time. I'm tired of picking up the pieces, even though that's what good sissies do!!! Believe me, I need a break on the cooking and cleaning, and since you love to cook.....hehehe!!!! T.

LOL...gee, you say "older" like I'm ready for geritol or something..HAHAHA. At least I don't look my age (at least most people don't think I do anyway), feel my age anymore (thanks to losing all this weight!..yippee)..and best of all, I don't act my age...most of the time...hehehe Yep, I do love to cook. Hey, we could take turns cooking WLS friendly stuff and let them fend for themselves...j/k...i really do love cooking and like you, I feel like cooking is showing my love for others. Hey, I hear you and agree with you 100% about the all in good time thing. If it's meant to be, it will be. Th

Well, granny, I guess he could always push your wheelchair!!!! Actually, I can personally attest that you don't act your age - I'd say you act about....5 - yes, that's it 5! But a mature 5, to my less mature 4-1/2!!!! OMG! If I let them fend for themselves - it'd be Oncor frozen entrees and hot dogs!!! ICK!!! Actually, I've really been wanting to bake a cake or something for them, but the last time I made a hot milk cake, Gary's fave, I sent him half and kept half for Mom & Dad, he ate the entire half himself and K&B didn't get any!!!!! Piggy Daddy!!! I think I'll wait till Halloween, when I'm going to bake brownies and cut them out with bat cookie cutters, and I'm going to ATTEMPT to make this concoction from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory - remember that Avalance Bark? That's what I'm gonna try! He's got a huge kitchen, too, just right for "showing the love!" The only thing is, the dog's cage and cat's litter box are in there - far away from the sink & stove, but in there nonetheless - I'm working on that!!! Yes, all in good time - until we had K&B, I used to hit the snooze on my biological clock - now I think I've shut it off completely!!!! Tia

Good morning everyone! Well, it was quite an eventful weekend for me. On Friday I took Stephanie (oldest daughter) to the doc to have a "boil" checked out. Well, the doc didn't like how it looked and sent us to Walter Reed to have a surgeon look at it. They put her on IV antibiotics and then decided to do surgery to clean it out. Seems she got some kind of staff infection at the site and it was just getting really bad. The surgery was very minor, she didn't even get put to sleep all the way. But still...for a teenager it was traumatic! She has a gaping hole about the size of a Susan B dollar that we are packing with gauze twice a day. I think that is the worst part of all of this for her. It is painful to have that yanked out and put back in. But it appears that she is healing well. We got her home on Saturday so at least she only had an overnight stay. Then our computer at home has crashed. Actually we think it is something about a program my husband was downloading and the norton picked up some type of thing and now we can't get the computer to open up because norton won't allow us to. So we have to contact them to get help fixing this. My work week has begun with a bang. I only missed one day but feel like I have a week's worth of stuff to catch up on. I should be all caught up by the time I leave today but the morning felt a bit frazzled. all better now. Have a great day y'all. Robin

Robin - OMG! Poor Stephanie!!! I'm so not a teenager, and I'd be traumatized, too! I'm so glad they caught it, though, before it had a chance to get any worse. I can't even begin to imagine having to pack the site - DOUBLE ICK! Hope she heals well - I know you'll take good care of her. Gotta love computers - and that's all I got to say about that!!!! Hope the rest of the day & week are uneventful for you! Tia

Good morning Is it Monday already??? The weekend was both relaxing and hectic. Mr Mo and I got a 'late-ish' start on Saturday a.m. He had a couple of office visits to do and I wanted to hit the sale at Kohls, so I was out the door about 11 and on my way. I didn't have such great luck at Kohls (bought a long-ish black knit skirt off the clearance rack, and a couple of long sleeve tops for fall) but then I headed to Old Navy ... UH OH ... I need to stay out of there. Cleaned up on the clearance rack .. a black denim skirt and jacket, and a couple of tops that are NOT me, then grabbed a couple of basic t's (a black one and a white one) and a brown knit gaucho skirt on sale. Total investment $53.25. I saw a top that I LOVE but I'll be danged if I am going to spend $19.50 on it so I'm waiting patiently for it to go on sale OR even better hit the clearance rack. Yesterday I was up and dressed by 8 a.m but Mr Mo took a bit longer to get moving. It was close to 11 again before we got out of the house. Breakfast sandwich from the deli and coffee from 7-11 (I prefer Wawa but 7-11 was on the way). We were headed up to Port Covington to check out Terry's Wally World and Sam's Club. WOW .. what nice stores, both of them. A bit out of my way for Wally World, but I might go there just because it's a nice store. We finally found the new computer that Mr Mo wanted. He actually didn't know exactly WHAT he wanted until he found it. I've had $600 put aside since last Christmas for him and added some to it to get him this one. When the Discover bill comes, I'm going to have to hit the old savings account to settle up. Now that he will finally have a computer that can be networked we will probably get Verizon FIOS (we don't live where we can have DSL). That will get rid of 2 ISP's (we each have one) and a phone line. I've just got to figure out what is involved to the FIOS thing and plan to stay home long enough to do it. Maybe some time in November or December??? Had our committee meeting on the proposals. We are all of like mind in the ranking of the proposals, so now we just have to write it all up and see what happens. I'll be SO relieved when I know it's all taken care of. Looks nice outside so I think I'll walk at lunch. I need to call my walking buddy and see what she is up to. I might also call Big Vanilla and find out about a tour. Even though I don't want to sign up until I get done with all my traveling in October, I'm still curious. Have a great day! Hugs, Mo

Hey Mo - YAY FOR SHOPPING! Isn't it funny how you don't want to spend $19.50 on a top? In my fatter days, I would've bought it even if it was $119.50, because the sizes/styles were so limited, and if you didn't get it, you didn't stand a chance of having it be there on sale! A very nice change, now!!! Computers confuse me - and that's all I got to say about that. I can use the programs, but beyond that - no. Hopefully, this will be the end of things for you on this proposal - I know it's been a pain for you. Have fun walking - my walking during the day usually consists of going potty - thanks to the 8-10 bottles of water!!! Tia

Well, it's 12:20 and I haven't gone walking. I think at this point I am not going. So much for THAT resolve! Maybe after work ???? I did spend some time going over the Big Vanilla website. I really have to call and make an appointment to go check them out. Speaking of water, yesterday between leaving Ft McHenry and getting to Severna Park I slurped down 4 bottles of water. It's a wonder I didn't float!!!! Hugs, Mo
