Mo - Forgetful Tia does that, too, - Did I or didn't I? BUT the scary thing is, I do it with my Effexor (anti-anxiety, keep the co-workers alive another day med). If I can't remember, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place - if I don't take it, I'm murderous by the evening, and if I take too much - woo-hoo - flying Tia! So that's always an adventure!!! Wow, a colonoscopy - you know how to have fun, don't you!!! You're right - when a menu says, "Field greens," you can be sure they're plucking them out of the cracks in the sidewalks!!!!! Happy reading! Tia

Good morning everyone. Well, y'all are on it today. I haven't seen a post with this many replies so early in the AM. Doing well today. I didn't get up early to exercise cuz I thought I'd take one day to rest. I am going for a walk at lunch so I'll still get some exercise in. I'll probably do my conditioning exercises this evening. I would love to get a personal trainer but right now I don't even use curves as much as should so I can't see joining another gym right now and paying for something I don't have the time to use. I'll most likely switch when my curves contract ends in May. Until then I will just keep doing what I am doing. I got in all of my water yesterday. That's a first for me in many many moons. I didn't have a great eating day though. I am trying to cut down on the snacks and that is going well. But yesterday I shared a buritto bowl with a friend of my at lunch. It was wonderful. However, I had way too much rice and not enough protein. So I was hungry sooner than I normally am. Also, I couldn't eat as much at lunch because the rice really made me feel full. At least it didn't make me dump so I must have kept the amount reasonable. (carbs tend to bring on the dumping if I eat more than a couple tablespoons.) My friend was teasing me about how it's not fun to go to lunch with me cuz I eat 4 bites and say I am full. I think that I had about 1/4th of the bowl. Well, I don't eat that much. It was fun teasing. She keeps saying she wishes she could have surgery. She is about a size 10-12 and can't weight more than 150 or so. She is only about 5'3". I am really bad about guessing others sizes and weights but lets just say that she certainly doesn't need surgery!!! I have explained that without surgery I wouldn't be able to eat the small amounts that I do. Anyway, I might go get another one of those bowl things today only without the rice. I picked out a blouse to wear today. Ironed it, put it on and realized it was just way too big. So I had to quickly find something else. I tried on one of my daughter's sweaters. It fit but I felt like it was a bit short so I didn't wear it. I have on one of my old blouses that is also to big but still looks okay, as long as I can keep it from falling off of my shoulders. I really need to get some new clothes. I have about 5 tops that fit really nice. The rest are baggy. I asked my husbad for $100 for my birthday so I can go buy some new stuff. I want some winter tops/sweaters so that might be what I look for. Sounds like everyone will have a nice day. Tia I hope your mom will feel better and be able to go to SC. It's always nice to get away for a short while. Terry, I hope that your porch gets done really soon. I would love a porch. I don't have any kind of covering over our front door so we get soaked trying to get in and out of the house when it rains. Not our house though so we won't be making any changes. Mo, I hope you get to settle on a date soon. It is tough having to postpone a huge project like that. I do hope you get to go on your vacation as planned. Kelly, you are doing great. Let us know what the doc says. Your exercise will improve over the next few months. As the weight comes off you tend to get more motivation to get moving. Hugs, Robin

Hey Rob! Yeah, but it you look closely, you'll see it's me commenting on everyone's posts and running me mouth - as usual. Good for you on the exercise and water! I am absolutely parched if I don't get in my 8-10 bottles every day - I guess my body's used to it now! I just line up my 5 bottles in the a.m. so they get to be room temp and away I go. Okay, so you have a birthday coming up soon? Do tell.... I'm assuming you check at Wal-Mart, they have some cool stuff that should help you stretch that $$$$! It's hard to keep buying, and the problem with me is that I want to keep on buying! Yep, I stay away from rice, not only because there's no protein in it, but because it and other carbs like it sit like lead in Randy!!! I love Mexican, though - I just ask them to skip the rice and add black beans if possible. Black beans are really versatile, and I add them to a lot of stuff. Actually, I don't have a desire for many starchy carbs, it's the sugar carbs that keep calling me! And calling me and calling me! I need to learn to ignore their siren call! I told my brother that I wish I got violently ill from sugar and he said, "No, you don't, you don't want to do without them completely," and I said, "Oh, yes, I do." The sad thing is that I know it's within my power to say, "No!," I just don't!! For the most part, I try to make sure any snacks I eat are protein-packed, but I can still make bad choices even with that criteria. BTW, I saw that on 11/12, a Sunday, Macy's in Columbia is having a Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade celebration - apparently they're bringing some floats and some parade folks - kind of like a mini-parade. I'm going to ask my brother if we can bring the kids, and maybe we can get a mini-get-together together! I love NYC and have never been to the parade because I would want the whole family there and the whole family wouldn't be willing to spend that kind of $$$ or give up our traditional Turkey Day celebration. I, however, am always willing to just have pizza, as long as I can be with my family! The food has never been that important to me - go figure!!! Have a great day! Tia

Good afternoon all! I am late getting on here due to my appointment with DVR...I have lost 45.5 pounds in 6 weeks! Yay me! That news made my week/month...ah, may hold me over until my 3 month check-up I asked about the whole vitamin thing making me sick, seems like I am just overly sensitive to the sugar that is in the Flintstones...so off to the drug store I go again, DVR suggested chewable Centrum. He says I can't start on the solid vitamins yet we will see how that goes. Not much going on at work...I got a new executive's desk, so the rest of my day will be putting it together and getting everything organized. Hope everyone is doing well. Leslie

Les - That's great!!!!!!! I am sooo glad it's going well for you!!! I know DVR is proud of you, too - too bad about the vits, though. I wish I had some other suggestions. Whatever you do, stay away from the liquid Centrum!!! When you're done organizing there, please feel free to come here and do the same!!! Good job! Tia
