Happy SUnday and "Who's Ready for some Football?"
17 September 06 Its been a few days since I visited and I have a few things to add. Well If you have noticed I adjusted my weight loss tickeron my profile to show my actual starting weight from my pre-op physical on 18 July 06. SInce this was my starting point of no return, I have decided to use this weight as my hinge. So I started at 277lbs and today I am 242lbs. I have already gone from wearing a size 26/28W to 22W in both pants and shirts. My bra (I know TMI but got to share), went from 42DD to 40D. So slowly but surely the inches are moving out of town. Went to my first family gathering yesterday at my husbands brother's house and oh my goodness, they had ribs, fried chicken, mac and cheese, corn on the cob, salad, mac salad and potatoe salad and on and on....well I thought ahead and brought a crock pot full of chicken chili and guess what...It was a hit among all that was there. Several people even asked me for the recipe..hmmm..who ever knew healthy food can been so good! I want everyone to know I did not pick at anything, yet I was satisfied and was proud of myself. My sister Debbie is coming tomorrow so I am going to have her measure me to see exactly what I have lost over the last month. Well got to get some breakfast in and get the day started before FOOTBALL Starts! Be back again soon.
Hey Rosaline -
I'm a day late, but since the Ravens won, I guess it's okay!!!! My Dad and my brother, Gary, but especially Gary, bleed purple!!!! Mom & I aren't huge fans, probaby because it seems like there's always something going on, but I joke to my brother that the Ravens don't make bad plays/calls just to tick him off!!! OMG, it is SUCH a personal thing with him!!!
Chicken chili is wonderful!!! Good for you for thinking ahead!!! I've always done red chili w/gr beef, or tukey, and just recently tried it with shredded chicken. About a week ago, I made white chicken chili, and that was delish, too!
Keep up the good work!!!
