DVR support group 9/27/06- Topic?

Does anyone know if a specific topic or presenter is scheduled for 9/27/06? I most of the time get the voicemail there and never a return call so figured to post the question here. I am not sure I am going as I have another gathering/meeting same time but if the topic was worth it for me I may chose the support group over the other. Any ideas? I didn't see any details on their website. BTW- for those not in the know---DVR stands for Dr. David von Rueden - GBMC Bariatric surgeon.

Hey Karen - I'm not sure, either, but I'll try to call them on Wednesday - seem to have better luck on that day. Also, I didn't make August's meeting, isn't September's time changed? Or did the time change start with the August meeting? Oh, well, I'll try to find out and post in plenty of time! Take care, Teresa

Karen - My curiosity got the better of me and I called and got a LIVE PERSON who told me that they don't know the speaker/topic yet, and told me to call next week. FYI, they changed the time, too, if you didn't know - it's now at 6 p.m. HTH, Teresa P.S. Well, the GBMC COMP website still states it from 7-8pm in the office----they really need to keep that updated or otherwise people will be missing the group altogether and arriving when its ending. Not sure if I will be there on the 27th as I have another meeting possible which at this point is more important to me - unless the topic for the group is a particularly interesting one. Yup, I know the web info is wrong. I mentioned that to them the last time because earlier when I looked, it also said that it was in the conference room in the hospital. So I trekked there, only to find out it was at the office! They said that their webmaster is sometimes slow in updating the site. Teresa

Hey Barb - Nope, this isn't the first one in his office. From what I've heard, they tried to hold them elsewhere, but apparently it wasn't a closed area and it was a little confusing. I'm told that they're trying to revamp the format/location, so we'll have to wait and see. Since neither of us knows what the other looks like, it should be interesting trying to find each other!!! I have short blonde hair and can be quite chatty, so I should be easy to pick out!!!! See you there!!! Teresa
