Hi all! Surgery on Thursday 9 am went well. Got the VG band. Had a little trouble when they pulled my tube because of some phlegm leftover from a little head cold, but I was fine. I was in my room around noon. Home Friday around 2. Right now I feel like my belly is SO FULL almost like a gallon of milk is in there! I don't want to eat, but know I have to. Something funny. I contacted Miss Yvonne who is also a pt of Dr. Schweitzer and had surgery the same day as me (me band, she RNY. We ended up roomies! I don't want to speak for her but I think she is doing well so far. I'm sure she'll post to everyone when she can. Thanks for all the well wishes. Now someone pray for me to FART! hehehe Heather

How ya doin girly? You were a great room mate. I had such bad gas pain in my shoulder and nausea which passed after 24 hours, but it took its sweet time leaving. They brought another girl in around 7pm after you left and I had to change rooms. This young girl was 5'3" 110bls, no insurance.... etc She had been drinking and diving (Thursday night) and wrecked her car. She was thrown out the passenger side window (she was driving) landed 50' from her car under a gaurd rail. They had to put a metal plate in her shoulder. Stitchers everwhere. She was a mess! But her mouth was not broke for sure. She kept complaining and using the "F" word over and over. Really got on my nerves. I had them move me to a private room, which I reqested in the first place so my mom could stay. Anyway the worst is behind us. Keep in touch I farted this morning!.......yeah.
