BUT IT'S MY FRIDAY!!! WOO-HOO!!! First, Happy Anniversary on 9/17 to our dear, sweet Mo & Mr. Mo, father of Poncho & Lefty!!!! Hope you guys do something special to celebrate!!! Monday is my parent's 40th wedding anniversary - but we won't go there!!! I love them, but together, they're like little chihuahas!!!!! Hope everyone is well. The drive to work was crappy - instant idiots, just add rain! Yep, I'm off tomorrow, and maybe Monday as well, if I get hit with another bout of anal glaucoma!!! I feel it coming on, so who knows? Today is Heather's surgery day, let's all hope everything goes well! Mom & I are doing the lunch/shopping thing tomorrow and Saturday, too, probably, and I've got some transcribing to do, coupled with the usual cooking for Gary, laundry, etc. I can't believe it's already the middle of September!!! Where does the time go? Although when I look at the kids and see how fast they grow, it's obvious. Okay, gonna get cracking here today! Stay dry! No need to water your letter carriers today, that's for sure!! Tia

Good morning Tia Thanks for the sweet anniversary wishes! 28 years .. can you believe it ???? and they said it would never last .. oh wait that was me sayin' that .. At this point it's way easier to keep him than to train a new model!!! We have a reservation in Hershey for Saturday night. The big RV show that used to be in Harrisburg has moved to Hershey and we are going to go up there Saturday afternoon, stay over and go to the show on Sunday. I heard the rain when I was trying to wake up this a.m. and really truly wanted to just stay snuggled in bed, but I have responsibilities here so here I am . I think really hard before I call out because each day of accumulated sick time is another day added to my retirement time .. and I need every bit I can get My nephew called me yesterday evening about his school fundraiser thingy .. they are selling wrapping paper (I think you need to actually buy stuff that needs be wrapped to use wrapping papger .. .. but ..) and they have flamingo paper .. his mother (my sister) thought I needed to know that. I see flamingo wrapping paper in my future now. Have a conference call at 2 and plenty to keep me occupied until then, so I best get with it. Enjoy your time with Mom tomorrow and Saturday! I am trying to figure a time when I can make it to CT to spend some time with my mom while she still remembers who I am. Hugs, Mo

Hey Mo! WOW!!! 28 YEARS!!! You're my hero!! Or maybe not - 28 years seems too long to spend with one person!!! Hershey?!!! Where are you staying? Although any place where the lights are shaped like Hershey Kisses is okay with me!!!!! I'm ashamed to admit it, but I probably take off more than I should, especially given who I work for, but he's always out and about, and THE SUPERVISOR makes sure I'm never IN the loop, so I probably don't feel as guilty as I should. Oh, well - only 9 more years!!! Oh, yeah, I know the fundraiser thingy - in duplicate! We're doing wrapping paper and Yankee candles, to be quickly followed by pizza and cookie dough. In fact, they came home on the SECOND day of school with it!! YIKES!!! Flamingo wrapping paper - well, you can teach the boys how to unwrap presents - my aunt ties cat treats to her cat's presents!!! Yep, get up to see your Mom - even with all their faults, we're only given one!!! Have a safe trip to PA!! Eat some chocolate for me!! Tia

I think we are staying at a Quality Inn. I made the reservation off the Southwest.com website so I could get a 1/2 point on my Southwest account. I have never been to Hershey, just passed by the exit on my way other places. Hugs, Mo

Okay, well, when you get into Hershey - hang your head out the window, see if you can smell it!!! BTW, I'm sure it's pricey, but I hear the Spa at Hershey has CHOCOLATE MASSAGES!!! OMG - okay, I gotta go lie down!!! Tia

Good morning Tia! Yep, the ride to work was bad. Actually just very slow, some drivers just drive me nuts!! Have a very big all important meeting today. Shouldn't be too much work for me though, it's all been set up. I still get nervous though since I want everything to go just right. I have my Walter Reed WLS support group tonight. Really looking forward to it since I missed the last one. I am doing my measurements tonight and will weigh in at curves on Saturday. I hope it was a good month. I just really need to kick my butt and get consistent with exercise. I did get up and do my conditioning exercises this AM so score one for me. I broke down last night and bought two new pair of pants. They were on the clearance rack at Target. Size 20w. That sucks but they look nice. The last time I was this weight I was a 16/18. I guess that having kids added to the width of my hips. Oh well, I am glad that I can wear a 20 now and not a tight 26. Most of the folks on the march board that weight the same as I (and some nearly 10 lbs more) are wearing size 14/16. My short stature doesn't help me much either. Well, gotta run. I am not having a very good moment right now! The stress level has gone well above what I can take and I am ready to crack! Hugs y'all. Robin

Hey Robin - Sounds like you're working so hard for these folks - I sure hope they appreciate it! I understand about wanting to do everything right, but sometimes, when I try TOO hard, I end up making mistakes, so go easy on yourself. I'd like to blame my hips on having kids, but alas, since I rent, not own, I don't think it'll work for me. Stop comparing yourself to the other people, too, you know everyone is different, but I do understand the feelings. I'm a lot taller than you, and I'm in a 20W, too. I think the last time I was in a 20W was....hmmm, NEVER! So take that size 20W and run with it, girl!!! You look amazing, so try not to sweat it. Easier said than done, I know. I love Target, but not their clothes. I think they're cut way too small - or maybe I'm just cut way too big!!! But I do like that it's not insane like Walmart! AND, the one by me has a Starbucks!!!! Well, hang in there, girl, don't crack, you're stronger that it!!! Have a good time at the support group meeting! Tia

Thanks Tia. Yes, I am my own worst critic. At least everything worked out for this darn meeting. It was a nightmare from start to finish. Everything that could go wrong, did. But Alas it is over now and I am moving on to the next thing. My boss was so great about it all. He is known around here for being really harsh and talking down to people. He was upset about all the problems, including one big one that I missed telling him about (left his name off the email by mistake) but he didn't get rude or loud with me. He was very good about it all. I don't like Target clothes either. But these pants are actually cute. Probably why they had them left to go on the clearance rack. Folks who like Target clothes probably wouldn't like the pants I have on. (Just kidding for all those Target clothes fans out there.) Anyway, I was surprised to find anything. I know, I shouldn't compar myself, it's hard not to. But I do try and I also try to say nice things to myself instead of putting myself down all the time. It's a learning process. You too are amazing my friend. Robin

Good afternoon everyone! Had a late start this morning...guess the rainy weather finally caught up to me. I didn't sleep very well last night, so sleeping in until 1030 was nice for a change instead of getting up at 0715. No plans today or tomorrow. Just have to get work done. Hopefully it is dry this weekend. My boyfriend has really gotten into fishing lately and I figured I would spend the day with him somewhere on Saturday just fishing. The next two weeks are going to be filled with overtime for me, so I may as well enjoy a weekend of doing nothing. Although, I do think I will head to the gym on Sunday morning. Congrats Mo on the anniversery. My boyfriend and I finally decided on a date to get married (no ring yet, but I am hoping for the holidays!)! I am IN LOVE with this ring http://www.callacut.com/viewitem.aspidProduct=51&priceRange=0x999999&curPage=2 but since it is a new cut diamond, they are quite pricey. We are looking at 04.06.08 for the wedding. I cannot wait to start planning and actually doing everything. Well, since I only got in here a hour ago, guess I better get cracking. Stay dry and warm (I know that I did neither)! Have a good day Leslie

Hey Les - Ooohhh, lucky you, sleeping until 1030!!!!! I think it's supposed to be nice this weekend, so have fun fishing! That's great about the wedding date! I love weddings, and planning them, especially when they're not mine!!!! Did that a loooonnnggg time ago. Unfortunately, the link for the ring's not working for me. Maybe I'll try copying/pasting. I REALLY wanna see it!! Hope you have a great rest of the day and weekend - stay safe!!!! Tia
