...we can find a good "All You Can Eat Snow Crab" restaurant?? We are heading down there next Friday and we are looking for SNOW CRAB! Granted I can't eat a lot, but my soon to be husband can and Lisa Fontes is going with her boyfriend and he can eat as well. So any recommendations on a good place to go that won't brake the bank, but has good SNOW CRAB?? We are staying at 1st and Boardwalk. Thank you! Erin 310/147/151 4 lbs. BELOW GOAL!

Hey Erin - Was wondering if you'd gotten married yet - I see it's happening soon! You must be soooo excited!!! I hope you have a great time in OC! It's one of my fave places!! Anyway, our fave buffet in OC is the Bonfire - can't remember what street it's on, but check wwww.ococean.com, they'll probably have the location. It's 26.99 for adults, which seems pricey, I know, but you can't beat their quality. A lot of the buffets in OC taste like, well, buffets! They have a huge selection, AND BEST OF ALL - once I told them I had wls, they charged me $12.50 for the buffet. Normally, I don't ask or show my restaurant card, but I knew there was no way I was going to be able to eat $26.99 worth of food. Not even $12.50, but at least they were accommodating!!! Their crab legs are AWESOME! Crab legs and salad, and I'm set!!! Their other stuff is good, too, but I go for the crab legs (getting in my protein like a good do-bee!) Have a wonderful time, and if you need any other OC advice, give a shout!!!! HAPPY WEDDING DAY!!!!!! Teresa

Thanks for the advice, Teresa. I have been going to O.C. since I was a little girl. You'd think I'd know everything there...lol. I heard about that Bonfire Place. We went to some Captains Buffet last year, that was pretty good, I must have eaten my weight in crab legs that night. It was one month before my WLS, and I said, this will be the last time I come to O.C. and be able to eat a crap load of crab. We sat for over 2 hours eating crab. I am not kidding you. They almost had to call the umpa lumpas to come roll my blueberry buns out of there and to the de-juicing room....lol. I was STUFFED! So I wanted to see if anyone had an ideas. Thanks for telling about letting them know I had WLS. I don't have a restaurant card, I printed the one from here, but haven't used it yet. I will try and see what happens. If they don't believe me, I will show them my saggy belly...lol. THANKS HUNNIE! Erin 310/147/151 4 lbs. BELOW GOAL!

Erin! My last supper of choice was in OC at the Clarion on 136th street (i think that is right). They have GREAT crab legs, raw oysters and lots of other goodies, but my favorites are the legs and oysters. We used to go to the Bonfire and the Clarion BLOWS them away! Check it out, I promise you won't be disappointed. It's about the same price as the Bonfire, but it is more upscale Heather

The Bonfire has an excellent all you can eat snow crab and buffet. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

The bonfire is the place for all you can eat crab legs and more and it is on 72nd street in OC. But JR ribs has all you can eat ribs, chicken and crab legs sometimes and they bring it to your table.
