CRABBY SUNDAY UPDATE!

Well, after speaking with two different people at Blue Fins, I finally spoke to the manager, who confirmed they serve crabs on Sunday from 2-10! I am so sorry for the confusion. Leslie, please feel free to beat me with a crab mallet when we finally meet! Actually, since you volunteer down my way, maybe we can get together for a coffee (or a protein drink) one day. For those of you who CAN make it, how about if we say 2? Nothing else has changed, still Blue Fins, www.bluefinsrocks.com, at 2 p.m. They said we don't need a reservation, they'll have plenty of crabs! I am going to try to get coverage in order to make it........I have been looking forward to this since surgery! If you see me there, then you know someone was great enough to help me out! I may even ask my mom's what she is doing that day!

I don't know if I can make it..thus the reason I've taken so long to respond. I'm having a friend (fellow WLSer) come over to my place on Sunday..and I have to ask her if she's up for it. If not...next month? I'm really NOT a snob..Sunday's are just tough for me.

Not a problem. Yes, we know you're not a snob!!! Actually, every month, it seems to get harder to pick a day that's good for everyone. I know everyone is having a packed schedule in October, but maybe we can make the November get together for a Saturday. Any suggestions places for future get-togethers? Have a good weekend! Teresa

Tia and everyone, Have a GREAT time at Bluefins! Sorry I won't be able to make it, but hopefully we can do this another time. I've never been to Bluefins. Would they be a good place for karaoke? We have a dj/karaoke business (evenings and weekends after our regular jobs) and are looking for new places to run our second system. FYI we do private parties too if anyone is interested. Heather

Hey Heather - I think we're going to try to do a get-together in November, too, so keep an eye out! Actually, I live in Hawthorne, right around the corner from Rosedale, so maybe we can get together independently. As far as karaoke, I've never been publicly drunk enough to subject people to either my singing or my dancing (think Elaine from Seinfeld)! Bluefins does have a musical venue - go to www.bluefinsrocks.com, they have a great outdoor setup, but I honestly don't know about the inside. Also, you might want to look into Carson's Creekside in Wilson Point, The Landing Strip in Middle River, right past Martin Airport, Dock of the Bay in Miller's Island, Seahorse Inn in Dundalk, The River Watch in Essex, Jad's Caddyshack in Essex, just to name a few. A friend of mine plays at some of these venues, so there might be openings for you and hubby! Have a great weekend! Tia
