Classic & Antique Cars anyone???
This isn't WLS related, but if anyone is interested in seeing or entering, my husband has organized the 2nd annual classic car show at Charles Evering VFW Post 6506 in Rosedale. The show is Sunday September 17th. Registration 10-12 and Show 12-4. There will be trophies, dash plaques, give aways, raffles, food, drink, amusements, and the ladies auxilliary is having a bake sale I believe. If you want further info, call my husband Floyd at 443-610-8846.
Trucks and bikes are also welcome.
Thanks,
Heather
Hi Heather
I'll keep it in mind for something to do that day! September 17th is our 28th wedding anniversary .. and they (and I) said it would never last
The big RV show is up in Hershey that same weekend so we may head up there, but if we don't (or do the RV show on Saturday) the car show is an attractive thought too.
Mr Mo knows the city fairly well, so I am sure we can find the VFW in Rosedale. I'll let you know as it gets closer if we are going to be there.
Hugs, Mo
Hey Mo! First of all, congrats on your anniversary!!! We had our 11th on May 7th. Where does the time go?
Rosedale isn't in the city. It's closer to White Marsh. Not sure where you are coming from but you would take the Philadelphia Road exit off of 695. It's near I-95 at the north/east side of the beltway. Physical address is 8777 Philadelphia Road (www.mapquest.com). It'll be just a few days post op for me, but I'm going to try to be there!
Heather
p.s. I call Floyd Mo-Mo all the time because our last name is Modispaw
Well, I know he knows Rosedale. I have no concept of Baltimore City/County geography, but Mr Mo is out and about all the time and knows these things! All I will have to tell him is the VFW in Rosedale and he will have us there
I've been Mo since I was little and it wasn't until I was 17 that I found out that Mo is a nickname for all Maureens. I was born the day the Battleship Missouri got off the sandbar in 1950 ... so they said I was little Mo after the 'Mighty Mo' .. what a rude awakening it was to find out I wasn't special ..
Hugs, Mo
Aw Mo, you're special! How many people can say they were born the day the Battleship Missouri got off the sandbar??? I can't I CAN say that nothing special happened in history on December 15, 1970 other than *I* was born hehehe
Well, if you can make it to the car show, I might just see you there! Depends on how I feel post-op. I'm sure I'll be fine, it's the taking care of my 21 month old that I worry about.
