TGIF!!
Hey Robin -
Check out their website, www.valleyviewfarms.com! It has a link for their Christmas shop. Also, it's a cool place to take the kids before Halloween - they have pumpkins, no apples (they used to), a display of straw animals and giant pumpkins. It's a good photo op. We usually go the weekend before Halloween and then again before Christmas - I DO NOT recommend Thanksgiving weekend - it's insane. If you go at night, the outside is breathtaking! If you go on Sunday, you'll hit the after-church crowd. Also, people start lining up the day after Christmas at like 3 a.m. for their day after sale - true insanity!
The girls might also enjoy Weber's Farm in Parkville - they have a HUGE pumpkin farm, make your own scarecrows, hay maze, mini petting zoo, bakery, apples & fall veggies, decorations and some crafts, ice cream, apple cider, etc. Lots of fun - but if you go on a weekend, you want to go early to try to beat the preppy-mommies-with-strollers-Starbucks-cups!!!
In my next life, I'm gonna work for the Chamber of Commerce!!!!!!
