Good Morning Everybody, TGIF!! Well, I think I know why it's raining today...I actually went and worked out last night! Okay, okay, pick yourself up off the floor...hehe. I also got weighed and measured while I was there. Although my workouts have been spotty at best and the scale has not moved (other than to ping pong back and forth between the same 3lbs) for the past month, I lost another 2 inches (most off my abdomen/waist). So how's everybody else doing today? Got any plans for the weekend? I'm just going to putter around the house. Have a great day/weekend! Terry

GM Terry (minus 2 inches!!!) - Well, at least it's not snowing!!!!! Good for you for working out - I often wonder why we're (me, anyway) so compliant when it comes to water, protein, etc., but fall down on the job when it comes to exercise? I mean, it's not like exercise is unpleasant - at least for me, at the hospital gym, they don't tell you that pain after working out is good pain, their philosophy is that exercise shouldn't hurt. And for the most part, the only time I've ever been sore after my workouts is when I increased the incline on the treadmill - major shin splints!! Once I lowered the incline a little but maintained my speed, no problems. Anyway, since I feel good after doing it, albeit a little sweaty, and it's so good for me, I wonder why I (we) have such a problem doing it? Just some food (s/f) for thought! I need to putter around the house, but really don't feel like it. I have to wor****il 5 today - the 127th MSP Academy Class is graduating today, and I don't normally attend if I don't know someone graduating, so I'm here watching the office. But who's watching Tia???? I'll probably try and at least clean the bathroom tonight - one of my least faves, but the Mr. Clean mop/bathroom cleaner is pretty cool - and I don't have to touch anything!!! The house needs more than that, but since I have two retired parents, and one anyway who's well enough to drive, I don't feel the need to bust my but after working 50-60 hours a week and helping Gary. Sort of selfish, but.... Tomorrow, Mom & I are going to the Amish Market in ****eysville, which was transplanted from Westminster about a year and a half ago. It's right next door to to Valley View Farms. Actually, I know it's a drive, but you're welcome to meet us there if you like. Although the weather sounds like it's going to be more "putter at home" weather. Gary & I are going shopping for curtains for his house on Saturday (woo-hoo!) He bought some and Kaity & I agreed that they were so ugly, we made him take them back!! Sunday, having coffee with my bgf and then taking Kaity to the movies to see Material Girls. After that, some cooking and transcribing. Monday, we're cooking out at Gary's house - I'm trying to dream up some kind of different dessert. I asked him if he wanted anything special, and all he said was, "Anything homemade!" so the possibilities are endless. Terry, we have to get together for dinner soon - maybe on a Friday that you work from home or are off - I MUST take you to By the Docks in Middle River. The MOST AWESOME crab cakes I've EVER had - and I've had a few. We need to plan ahead a little, because reservations are a must. Actually, if you like it, we can use it for a future get-together. Maybe bring your Mom - it's time our Moms meet! Anyway, let me know. Again, with a little planning, I'm available.

Good Morning Terry Yeah it is a yucky morning. I think this weekend is going to be a good putter weekend cause it's supposed to rain all weekend. Congrats on the 2 inches. I have yet to weigh my self since my 6 week check up almost 2 1/2 weeks ago. I need to buy a scale this weekend. You spend all you life never wanting to get on one and never wanting to buy one and now I really want one. So I might do that this weekend. Well have a good weekend and stay dry today Kelly

Good morning Terry I was up at 5:15 for about an hour .. and then I went back to bed for 2 hours because I COULD it was really nice to give in to sleeping late. Had fun dancing last night. We learned another new dance and I ACTUALLY caught on and could do it after the music started. Because I was doing such a good job with it I think we did that dance about 5 times I did stumble through a couple of the other ones and then just stand around for a couple too. I've left updating the laptop til the very last minute here, but Mr Mo got it all set up and plugged in while I was out last night so I'm going to run dowstairs and get it on line and start the virus and windows updates downloading. That should take from now til when we are ready to leave .. with my luck .. lol. I have plenty to do to get ready in the mean time .. but only AFTER I finish watching yesterday's OLTL and GH. We are off to Rambling Pines Campground this afternoon and 3 nights of bliss with Mr Mo and the two cats! The cats don't know they are going yet ... this should be fun explaining to them. Talk to y'all later. Hugs, Mo

Hey Mo - Have a great time! Take your rubber ducky!! Do the cats have a choice about going? What would happen if you left them home alone? Would they be dealing catnip and having wild litter box parties? Hmmmm....sounds like a good time!! Well, anyway, have a safe trip, and feel free to bring back any single, decent men as souvenirs for Terry and me!!! Tia

Actually, until this last trip in May we always left the boys home alone. But now that Lefty has to have pills twice a day, and they are not really social enough to have someone come in to do that it was easier and MUCH less expensive to take them with us rather than board them. xoxox, Mo

Good morning. TGIF is so right. I needed this Friday to come and I truly need this 3 day weekend! Terry yeah on the 2 inches! That's great. Exercise is tough. It's hard to stay commited to it. I think it's because it requires a good chunk of our time during the day and when it comes to my time I am really pressed some days to find a free 1 or 1 1/2 hours to give to that. Still I know that if I do commit to exercise I'll feel much better and get these hips to shrink a bit! Gotta love womanly curves! Speaking of exercise, I went to see my nutritionist and exercise therapist yesterday. Nut said I am doing great. She was so happy for me and said I looked wonderful. She suggested that I try to take Gas-X with every meal to help cut down on the airbubble/rolling feeling that I get everytime I eat. I'll try ANYTHING since I am ready to be able to eat and not be uncomfortable for an hour and a half afterwards. It's not painful, just annoying. My exercise therapist said that I exceeded his expectations for me. I know I am not where I could be with my exercise but I am improving so that is something. He gave me some conditioning exercises to do. Had be drippin sweat in his office from those things. I had to joke with him when he kept saying that I was doing a really good job. I laughed at him and said he was so nice because we both know that I was not doing very well. He laughed and said that I really was doing good. AWW, what a sweetie. He's such a motivator. So the exercises he gave me are tough but they will really help the areas I want to tone and slim down. I love going to see him cuz it re-motivates me to push myself. Tia, I love the Mr. Clean wand too! I just can't stand to do my bathrooms without it. The Amish market sounds good. I've always wanted to go to one. I'll have to plan for that in the very near future. We just don't get out much, we are pretty well homebodies. Not that I plan it that way, it just happens. My daughter turns 17 this weekend. We will have 13 Junior & Senior high school girls in our house tonight for a sleepover. PRAY FOR ME!!! Actually it'll be lots of fun. The hardest part will be making this scrumptious double chocolate cake and setting up the chocolate fountain for them and staying away from it myself. yikes! Stephanie didn't get a 16th b-day party since we had just moved here and she didn't know anyone yet. Sunday we are having some friends over for dinner after church. Should be a nice day, with Football and cards. I really like my football. Well, have a great one y'all. Stay dry, Ernesto should be gone sometime tomorrow. Hugs, Robin

Hey Robin - Hadn't seen you in a couple of days, was wondering.... Maybe we can do the Amish market in November, they'll have Christmas candles, crafts, etc. Not very wls food friendly, but there's lots of restaurants in the area. We can also do a trip to Valley View Farms - they have the most beautiful Christmas displays! And Wegman's is right around the corner in Hunt Valley! The possibilities are endless!!!!! Have a great weekend! Stay sane with the girls and tell Stephanie Happy B-Day from all of us!! Tia
