I wish I had gotten on here earlier. I was home just about all day. I did a liitle last minute shopping this am, but that was it. I was in a wedding yesterday. It felt so good to be the same size as everyone else. My husband didn't make it to the wedding and he got to the reception late. He didn't even recognize me, all made up. My son had to point me out to him. I'm down to a size 14/16 top and 16 pant now. I'm gonna update my profile in a few days. Oh by the way, I'm having a 40th birthday party next month. Hi Nadine I live in the Baltimore area and Dr Gandsas will be doing my surgery on 9/13. Congrats on your weight loss success!!!!! Can you share about your post op experiences. I am excited about the prospect of losing weight....any helpful hints or suggestions? Georgia

Thanks Georgia, Personally I havn't had any complications. The only problem I've had was low blood pressure and constipation. The constipation is my fault for not taking in enough fluids. If you can, you may want to start incorporating the changes to your diet pre-op. It will make the transition a little easier. For example, I rarely used substitute sweetner pre surgery. Now I have to. Follow Dr. G's and Nancy's instructions. Also take advantage of the pre and post op support groups . Nadine O.
