26 August 2006 Well almost at 2 weeks out and I am 249 lbs! Down 17lbs in 11days amazing. I don't even remember the last time I weighed 249lbs.... I am excersising daily, got to watch it though I am feeling so good I sometimes forget I had surgery 11 days ago. My sister did my measurements yesterday and the change is 34" overall since June 26, 2006. I don't realy feel it yet but its gone. I am so going to miss Tammy when she leaves tomorrow but I have to step out on my own sometime so now is better then ever. I know they are still there for me when I need them. I can do about 3-4 oz of pureed foods a day and enjoying the different tastes since I don't smoke anymore. I have some realy good recipes for some high packed protein chiles and soup for the first week or two. Shared them with a few people so far and they love it. I am going to get more creative as time goes on because I love to cook and experience new things My husband took me out last night to the movies and it was so nice to be out of the house. When we were walking into the theater and he said "Have I told you today I love you and how proud I am of you" I smiled knewing he had said it but its always twice as nice to hear it again. By the way, he has lost 3.5 lbs and is working out every morning too...he's so dam cute! Well I got to run so I'll writ e again soon....Keep Thinking Thin in 06! Rose

Hi Rose, Congrats on your awesome progress already. You sound so positive and encouraging. Your progress will continue to be great with such an attitude. I had to take a double take when I saw your name. My mother-in-laws name is Rosealie Smith and she lives in Ft. Meade. Small world! Megan
