Happy Tuesday!!!!!! I was reading someone's profile yesterday and it mentioned fitday.com and how wonderful of a site it was...so of course I had to check it out. I know most of you probably already use it or have heard of it, but it really is neat. It is a online tracking tool and best of all, it's free! It calculates/estimates your food proteins/carbs/fats/etc, along with your excersise from day to day, you can keep a journal on there and everything. If you've never looked at it, take a minute and try it. I am already hooked! Between this site and that one...I love the internet! ~*Debbie*~

Fitday really is an easy way to calculate what you're eating. How much fat is in that chicken thigh? Now you know. The percentages of protein/fat/carbs have really helped me get a handle on what I've been eating and is a guideline for where I want to go. Also made my most recent nutritionist appointment a stone cold breeze.

I love Fitday! Although I find that I have to add the information for most of the foods that I eat. Fortunately there is calorieking.com where I can find the nutritional information for almost anything. Elizabeth

Hi Debbie and all, I have been using and promoting Fitday.com for about 2 years...LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT...keeps me VERY honest!!! There are two things I wish that fitday would allow me to do.... 1. I did not start at the beginning of my WLS...probably about 6 months out...wish I could go in and backdate a weight so I could track it...I have lost a total of 135 lbs..which leads me to my second request.... 2. Track my weight loss for further back than a year....so my first request doesn't really matter as I can track only for the last year... Sometimes I add in food BEFORE I eat it so I can see what it will do to my numbers for the day...as I mentioned...Fitday.com keeps me VERY honest... Also, I find that sometimes I don't complete a full day's worth of food...but it still gives me an idea of how I am doing. Best to all.... RAE
