Nothing matters ...
But the weekend from a Tuesday point of view ...
Hi gang
That is my friend's standard Tuesday greeting, so I will share it with y'all again, even though it probably makes no sense (it hasn't to me in all the years I've heard it .. )
I'm off to a busy Tuesday a.m. here. Had some running around and emails to get done before a 9 a.m. meeting. Done with that and now have another at 10 a.m. My to-do list grows longer all the time, but that keeps me from getting bored.
Time for my nails and toesies tonight after work. I'll really enjoy sitting and being pampered for a bit after the crazy-ness in the office lately.
Have a super Tuesday.
Hugs, Mo
But a One Year Anniversary...Hey Mo...hope things slow down for you soon...you always seem to be so busy...but one thing I have noticed is that you never seen to busy for those of us here on the boards and for that I am very thankful...I know I don't post alot here but I read the posts every day and some have been very helpful...well as I said nothing but a 1-yr anniversary...today is mine...I can't believe it has been a year already...my time flys when you are having fun.....I thank god everyday for helping me make this decision to change my life and for all of the great people who have helped me through this...I am down 115 lbs. since my surgery and feeling great...I am looking forward to the next MD get together...I missed the last 2 because of previous commitments so hopefully I can get to the next one...thanks for all your support and Have A WONDERFUL Day...KIM
Happy Birthday! That's what I am going to consider my anniversary of my surgery. I am looking forward to feeling more alive then ever! Congrats on the weight loss, but even more on the way that you feel on this very memorable day! Go celebrate girl, you deserve it! This is a real reason to treat yourself!
Hi, all
I echo Kim's sentiments about your posts, Mo. It is always a pleasure to read what you have to say. Kim, congrats on your one year anniversary!!!! That is a big deal. You seem to have done very well for yourself this past year after a tough time in the hospital. Good for you-that inspires me.
I am a middle school counselor and am actually getting a few minutes' break this first day. Guess the hard work last week paid off. I'm settling in to the eating every 4 hours that the nutritionist recommended and have lost 20 lbs in the last 6 weeks. Very happy about that. All my friends have noticed and ask why I am having the surgery since I am being so successful. I just laugh and tell them I have been here before but have never been able to sustain it....People who know me well understand what I am saying.
Hope you all have a great rest of the week,
Julie
Hi Julie
Every pound you lose pre-op is one pound closer to goal post-op. Sounds like you are doing great and learning new eating behaviors too which will be great for you post op. I can understand completely AND also know there comes a point where no amount of dieting is gonna lose the weight.
Have a great Tuesday.
Hugs, Mo
Good morning. I love Tuesday's. Maybe it's because Monday is gone and Friday is coming.
Kim, congratulations on you surgiversary! Sounds like you have done very well.
I have been busy today. Its a good kind of busy. Getting things done! I love that. I am going for a walk on my lunch today. I really enjoy doing that now and it makes me feel so much better about myself.
Gotta take the kiddos shopping for supplies tonight. They are ready for school to start. Not for the homework or the school work itself but for the social life they love. LOL I loved it too.
It is great to have Stephanie home. She is so full of stories from her trips to CA and Fiji. Last night it was so great to hear her laughing at a Friends show we were watching. I missed her. aww. So glad she's home.
Well, I am off to get stuff prep'd for the post office. Y'all have a great day. Hey, where are Teresa and Terry lately? Miss you guys.
Enjoy being pamperd Mo!
Hugs, Robin
HI Mo,
Enjoy your pampering Mo, you deserve it. You work hard at your job...and work hard at keeping this board alive and helping us through the day to day. I actually found that I avoided the board for a month or two because looking at all the success stories makes me even more anxious. But you are here no matter what and it's really appreciated!
Thanks!
Debbie
