Monday Roll Call .... come out you lurkers!!!
Good morning all
Come on out and say good morning! What did yall do this weekend?? I can tell you weren't on here posting so you must have been busy .. it's time to tell all
Yesterday got off to a VERY late start (we didn't go out to breakfast until 1 p.m.) so I was very confused and pretty much had a lazy lazy day
Have a number of projects to work on today here, so I had best get busy with them.
Hugs, Mo
Good Morning to you too.
Glad you had a good weekend. I had a busy one too. Went shopping at arundle mills mall on saturday with my husband. So did alot of walking. Felt great to walk a mall and not have your back hurt after a few minutes. I thank that to the fifty pounds I have lost since the day of my surgery which was July 10th 2006. I also had my first resturant experience at arundle mills. Was a little scared but I did good. The waitress was very helpful to my needs. Then Sunday I treated my self and went to get my hair highlighted. So that was my busy weekend. Well have a great day
Kelly
Hey Kelly,
Bet your hair looks just great!
It's amazing how the loss of poundage can make a huge difference in walking around. I was about 2 months out and 35 pounds down when we went on our first NASCAR trip/vacation post op. I used to have such difficulty walking from our campsite to the track .. I would be stopping every 20 to 30 feet because my back/hip hurt .. on that first trip post op, Mr Mo could hardly keep up with me
Have a good day!
Hugs, Mo
Morning all. Had my 2 month weigh in on Friday and I'm down 65 pounds. 18% of my excess body weight. Meeting with a personal trainer this Friday to work on more exercises (trying to learn how to do them the RIGHT way to avoid injuries. I've had problems with that in the past). Hope everyone has a great week!

65 lbs! Excellent! Great idea to work out with a trainer early on. I have a friend who I learned a lot from and sometimes the people that are doing the excersises wrong are working harder and injuring themselves. You will benifit more and reduce your risk for injury. Good luck on all that! How was the beach with your family?

The mini vacation wa an honest riot, thanks for asking. We stayed at the Holiday Inn on 17th. Their pool is amazing for kids. It's like a little mini water park! 2 slides, a whirlpool thingy, and a little mini current driven semi circle. The girls didn't want to leave and I didn't blame them. My four year old played three rounds of mini golf. Snagged her first honest to goodness hole in one. Her parents are so proud!
Morning y'all!
I had a nice quiet weekend. Friday and Saturday spent some time for just me. Watched a movie, cleaned the house, rested, did my nails. It was nice and quiet around my house.
My oldest daughter came home this AM from Fiji. I am so glad she's home. We sure missed her. She had a wonderful time and just couldn't stop talking about it all. I was totally bummed that I had to come to work instead of listening to all her stories. So we will be catching up tonight.
I am feeling kind of blah these past two days, even though I had alone time. Not sure why but I know it'll pass.
Well, gotta run. Work is waiting. I am registering my boss for three conferences coming up this fall. Lots of paperwork. The hardest part is pinning him down to choose the sessions he want to be in.
Have a wonderful day.
Hugs, Robin
Well I had a great weekend myself. Finally bought myself something I've always wanted, a color laser printer. Works pretty nice if I do say so myself. I really needed one in order to promote my friend the country artist I truly love. I have my six month appointment Wed afternoon so I didn't want to check my weight till then. I'm hoping to be under that next mini goal of mine. Oh well better get back to work.
Hope to see ya soon,
Robin
