I came home today still a little bit of pain and the pain meds knock me out so I am pretty much usless for now. How long does it takes before all the pain goes away? Its getting better day by day and I am dealing with alot of gas, they kept me an extra day because I coulndt pass it. I am so happy to be home, thatnk God for what he has done for me.

Welcome home! Walk, walk and then walk some more .. the walking will help the gas. Best wishes for a quick recovery. Hugs, Mo

Welcome home! Sheila, everyone I think is pretty different in terms of pain. I had surgery on Thursday and stopped pain killers on Saturday - never took any after. I'm also not a big believer in pain killers. I just took my walks and took each day at it came. I was back at work 2 weeks after surgery. Just take it a day at a time. Good Luck! Elana

Welcome home!!! Take it easy. Walk as much as you can, to relieve the gas, and get in as much liquid as you can handle. You have to keep pushing the fluids. I wish you continued Peace and Blessings. Nadine O.
