Happy Fripay!
Good morning gang 
We have made it through another week .. AND it's payday !!!!
I had an 'eventful' day yesterday. The time I was in the office I was busy running back and forth to the 3rd floor getting some furniture moves organized, then I left for a 'working lunch' and on to a meeting at 2 that lasted til after 4 (so much for thinking I'd get to leave 'early' .. 
). The results of the meeting will carry over to day. There is follow up work that must be turned around and gotten out of here by Tuesday at the latest.
On a personal note, I have to contact my PCP this morning to see if they will give me a referral for a breast biopsy that was done in April 2005 so that Carefirst will pay the almost $3,000 bill. I am about to choke. My GYN did my referral for the original mammo .. then I got called back for MORE pictures and ended up having a biopsy .. well .. according to Carefirst .. my GYN couldn't do the follow up referral. At the time that this was all going on .. I was way to freaked about having to have the biopsy to question WHO was to do the referral .. so now 15 plus months later I am being dunned by hospital and FINALLY have an answer from Carefirst as to why they denied it. Needless to say I am not amused. I was chewing on the Carefirst CSR last night when I called .. and he was extremely condescending which didn't help his case a bit!!!!
On a happier note though .. it is Friday and I have two days of weekend ahead that I can just relax and enjoy. No plans made yet (Mr Mo is playing golf in Finksburg tomorrow so he will be up and out EARLY) ... Might hit Kohls and see what I can get there on sale. I'm thinking that I want a George Foreman Grill .. there's one on sale and I have an extra 15% off on top of that, so I'm gonna check it out.

Morning Mo. My night without the family was late. My morning without the family was late! I rolled over and looked at the clock this morning and surprised that it said 8:00. That's when I'm supposed to be at work of course. So 40 minutes later I'm at work and on the phone. Record time and some nice green lights going my way.
At the beach this weekend.
2 month weigh-in happens this afternoon. I'll let y'all know how that goes.

do these things and then wonder why they have a bad rep. After my eldest was born I was shocked to get a 5,000 bill from the hospital. Turns out I didn't ask for pre-approval for the wife to have a baby 
(successfully fought that one). Didn't make the same mistake twice.

I've talked to the gal who does the referrals in my PCP's office and she completely understood my problem. I've faxed the paperwork off to her and she is going to do the referral and hopefully we will get this straightened out. AND I talked to the billing office at AAD and they have put a note in my file that I have identified the problem and trying to get it corrected.

OOOOPs !! on the being late. I've had a few of those mornings when the clock hasn't gone off. Mr Mo is usually gone before I open my eyes in the a.m. so I can't depend on him to remind me that it's time to get up. I haven't actually slept on a work morning until 7:30 (theorectical arrival time in the office), but I've had a few a.m.'s that I was opening my eyes at 6:15 and then I was in serious hurry up mode!
Have a great time at the beach. I am LONG overdue for a trip to OC. I think even if it's only a Sunday drive down to walk on the board walk I need to do that soon.

I am so glad that it's Friday. I am so ready to get some sleep. Although this week seems to be better than last with my energy level. Today I am very hungry. I didn't get to finish my protein smoothie this AM and now I am ready to eat my lunch, it's only 10:30! Not sure what is going on but I am trying to drink water and keep busy to avoid eating my lunch this early.
I have the evening and most of tomorrow to myself. It should be quite nice. Not sure what I am going to do yet. Maybe I'll get a good chic flick, catch up on my reading, window shop, or go walk around a lake or something.
Mo, did you go linedancing last night? I hope it was fun for you.
I started keeping track of my calories and have discoverd that I am consuming about 1200 calories a day. At 5 months out, is this okay. I eat a shake for breakfast, lunch, a snack of fruit or beef jerky, dinner (usually only 3 oz of meat with veggies) and then another snack. I also typically have a small snack when I get home from dinner, about 100 calories. No wonder my weightloss has slowed. I am gonna try to cut out the home from work snack and possibly the after dinner snack too. Anyway, what do y'all think.
Gotta run. I am leaving work early to take Meghan to her "Friends Retreat". I need an early day.

Enjoy your early out this afternoon! The way my day is going I've come back to my office and maybe no one will think to look for me here. I've been on the run all day .. I didn't even get to finish watching Y & R at lunch because I had to go pick up a call to help resolve a problem I had called in to support ..

Hi all,
Yes, TGIF. I have been "away" lately since I have gone back to work. Our kids will arrive on Monday for orientation (some of them) and the rest come in on Tuesday. Major SNAFU's today with running schedules and class lists, new software pkg....GRRR!
The good news is that I have lost the required pre-op weight of 15 lbs. already so I have a month to continue losing before surgery. Any little bit helps, I am sure.
Mo, I hate that Insurance stuff, argh! Makes me nuts when it happens to me. Sounds like it may be on the way to resolution, I hope.
I missed the August gathering at Arundel Mills becuase I was sick, unfortunately. Sounds like you all had a good time. Now, I am in a "hurry up and wait" time before surgery. I have been reading posts daily to keep my spirits up. So glad you all are here.

20 days and counting until my surgery, I have a lot of things to do at home. I need the laundry fairy to come visit me. 
because my dryer was broke for a week or so and I'm playing catch up.
