Good morning kids!

Hey everyone .. it's THURSDAY!!! That means Friday Eve!!! and even better .. it's FriPAY eve ... It's early but I've got a busy day ahead of me. Have several things to tackle when I get to the office and then leaving by noon for a working lunch before a big meeting at two. I was awake before 4 a.m. AGAIN ... this is getting old because it cuts into my nighttime time ... Tonight should be line dancing again .. haven't been for 2 weeks so I'm sure I have forgotten everything I've learned .. .. plus I'm going to be sound asleep on my feet at 9 p.m. Have a great Thursday. Right back at you Mo! Looks as if it's going to be a beautiful day in MD today. Me and my crew are heading to the DC Zoo. Haven't been in a while and am looking forward to not feeling winded, sweaty, and sore as I head up all the hills. Going to a support group meeting this PM with a woman further out than I. We both need help keeping enthused and staying on track. Promised each other that do or die, we would go tonight. No backing out. Any good info, and I'll pass it along to you guys. Have a good one! Good Morning Traci, I was wondering since we live in the same neighborhood if you could recommend a support group, my surgeon is in Baltimore and I hate to have to go all that to a support meeting. I would appreciate any info you might have. Thanks!!! Stephanie

Good Morning Mo, I am still lurking here getting all of the Info I can before my surgery, I have 1 more month of my supervised diet and I should be go to go. Sorry I snatched your thread, I saw Traci here and we both live in Lusby, MD and I had hoped she could help me out with support group info. Have you heard from Teresa and how her Dad is doing? I haven't heard from Tia other than her posting on Tuesday that her Dad had come through surgery and they were hoping he would be able to be released today. If I get a chance in a bit I'll try to call her and let her know that we are thinking of her. I know she's going to be busy between helping her Mom take care of Dad and then off work next week to keep Kaity and Brian occupied while their day care is closed. and .. by the way .. lurking is allowed, but it's much more fun when you jump in .. even if it's just to say HI!!! Have a great time at the Zoo. We haven't been over there in a few years. My sister started a tradition of going to the Zoo for Thanksgiving when my nephew was a year old. I think we have been going since he was two or three. We have missed the last 3 Thanksgivings because we have been traveling, but maybe we'll get back on track this year. I've not been since WLS, but I definitely know that it will be a MUCH easier walk around now . Great on the support group thing. My doctor has a support group meeting weekly, but it is in Salisbury ( 90 minute drive each way) and had been doing a Saturday meeting twice a month. I for my first year I faithfully drove to Salisbury twice a month, then life got in the way and I was traveling and doing other things .. then as luck would have it, the Saturday group was abandoned, so I am sort of 'support-less' at the present time. Once a quarter (at least) I should just leave work early and drive to Salisbury for the meeting during the week. Have fun at the Zoo!!! Hugs, Mo

Morning all! The wife, kids, mom-in-law and bro-in-law are making that brave trek to Ocean City today. I'll be following tomorrow after work (surgery left me with very few days off the rest of the year). Hope everyone has a great day! -Daniel

Hi Mo, Yeah PayFriDay Eve!!!!!!!!!!! I hope that you get in the line dancing, It's one of my favorite past-times. Where do you line dance? I hope that you get some better sleep soon or get your schedule down. I'm on the opposite side of the spectrum and I have a hard time falling asleep before 2am and a hard time getting up before 7:30 and I really want to go to work early and get home early (since I have flex time).
