Hi Gary, There are many that cover the surgery, it depends on the plan and the specific coverage. Maryland has a 'mandate' that it must be covered, but there are loopholes having to do with the number of employees in the plan, whether the plan is self funded, etc. Unfortunately, there is not an easy answer to your question. There is a category of Insurers on the sidebar here under Resources in Maryland. That will give you an idea of the various insurance companies that people here on the boards have used. I don't know if you have met with a doctor, but I would recommend Doctors Sofronski and Bovard in Salisbury. The practice is Delmarva Bariatric Center.
