Howdy do folks, Here it is Wednesday morning again this week! I have been so disoriented that I was thinking it was already Thursday (but then I woke up on Monday thinking it had to be Wednesday already ). Have a list of things to get done here today and a couple of meetings on the agenda as well. Still haven't heard about the interview from last week. I am thinking that I was NOT their choice. That will be fine with me because then I don't have to stress over whether or not I will accept it or not. Have a great day! Think about Terry M. enjoying herself in Siesta Key and give Tia moral support in handling her Dad's recovery from knee replacement surgery. Hugs, Mo

Hey there Tracy! Are you off EVERY Friday or just this one? I don't think I would be allowed to work an 'alternative' work schedule because I am a manager in a very public oriented area but I don't think I have it in me at my age to work 4 ten hour days to get that 5th day off each week. I'd end up sleeping to catch up so it would be a waste. Have a wonderful Thursday. Hugs, Mo

Good morning y'all! It was such a beautiful morning. I hope that it doesn't get very humid this afternoon as I am gonna take a 30 minute walk around the harbor at lunch. On days that I won't get to workout at home or at curves, I am trying to go for a walk at lunch. And Wednesday is one of those days for me. Well, not much to report. I hope to talk to my sister today, she just had her wls one week ago. I am anxious to see how she's doing. I haven't had a chance to call her as other things have come up. I am sure that she will do just fine. My only concern is that she had open RNY and after her cecerian with her baby she had an open wound for 6 months that kept an infection. I just hope that doesn't happen this time for her. Well, I also wanted to share my progress so far with y'all. I was 5 months post-op yesterday. I have to say that I am a bit disappointed in the weightloss this month, however, I am pleased with the inches lost and the overall results that I am seeing. This months I only lost 7 lbs. I am at a total of 69 lbs in 5 months. I did however lose 10.25 inches this month, for overall 51.25 inches in 5 months. I am pleased and I find that my clothes get bigger and bigger every week. I hope that the weight loss will pick up again soon as I have lost only about 1/2 of what I want to lose. And I am only 4 lbs from Onderland!!! (will I ever get there??!!) I feel great and I am still working on getting more consistent with my exercise. I get in plenty of protein but I have to work on getting in those vitamins. Hopefully soon I will post pictures on my profile. I just put that off for other things that have to get done while I am at home. Thanks for listening. Hugs, Robin

Hi Robin, Hope you get to enjoy your walk around the harbor! I miss that about working downtown but I can walk around Annapolis at lunch. I still haven't remembered to bring by fake 'croc' shoes in to keep under my desk for walking and even if it's nice enough to walk today, I'll have to pass because I have heels on that wouldn't go well with the brick sidewalks. I can sympathize with the disappointment. I've been there too. I am almost 2 1/2 years out and have about 35 pounds to reach my 'ideal' weight, and 25-28 pounds to reach what would be 'reasonable'. I focus on the 100 pounds I have lost and how much better my quality of life is with those pounds gone. Even though I rationalize that I knew this would be 'work' I still think that deep down I didn't think it would be this 'hard' to get to goal. (if that makes sense). I have to admit though that I do get my protein in each day (my doc is one who dictates protein supplement shakes daily for LIFE) and I pop my Flintstones faithfully each a.m. after I brush my teeth (and sometimes pop an additional 2 F/S before I go to bed at night .. ) I was soooo good about walking last year, and started off the spring on the right foot, then it got hot and I got lazy and now I'm having trouble getting back into it. I need to just go home and change and go walk .. not get distracted by Mr Mo .. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Mo

Good morning everyone, I come on here everyday, and just read. I truly enjoy reading the post each and every day. I know everybody pretty much by name. I truly appreciate the encouragement that ya'll give each other. Even me not knowingly. So, today and for now on, I will post or reply, instead just reading.

Hey all. An afternoon hello from me. The gym across from my office reopened today after being closed for 12 days for rennovations. It looks nicer and they put in a new flat screen TV in the area where I ususally work out. A different way to pass the time on the eliptical if I so choose. Hope everyone's having a great day! -Daniel
