Tuesday Food Police
Well, I won't detail what I ate over the weekend, but I think I did really well. We went out for a "last supper" of sorts before Dad's surgery, and I was actually able to eat about 4 oz. of steak and a few bites of salad. What an accomplishment for me! I think as long as I order it medium, it's okay. But who knows, tomorrow could be a different story!
Monday Actual:
B - Kashi hot cereal, skim, Splenda, cherries
L - Took my own salad - let, tom, cukes, onions, shrimp, cheese & blueberries w/ranch, hospital food is NASTY!
S - Payday Pro protein bar
D - Few bites of beef tips, protein bar
Not as much water as usual, but probably more than most
Tuesday:
B - See above (I'm lazy today)
5 - 16 oz. bottles of water pre-lunch
L - Homemade chili/cheese
5 - 16 oz. bottles of water apres-lunch
D - Hospital food??????
S - ?? spoon of pb or protein bar, or the head of any co-worker who ticks me off!!!

I'm doing 2 shakes as meals every day this week to try to jump start things. I am getting incredibly frustrated with no loss in the past 3 - almost 4 - months despite the fact that I'm exercising like crazy and eating fairly well. So, we'll see if this helps. If not, I'm ready to chuck it all in and go join Weigh****chers to try to get off this last 30 pounds. I may do that anyway.
Here's today's plan.
AM - 2 cups of hot tea
B - Atkins protein shake
L - Atkins protein shake
S - some raw veggies and a piece of fruit
D - either the last of the leftover baked flounder with a salad or if someone has eaten the last of the flounder, I'll probably have a tossed salad with tuna on top. Either s/f jello or s/f pudding for dessert.
no food after dinner
vits and meds: done
water - 100 oz of liquids
exercise - 40 minute step aerobics class followed by lower body toning and ab work
Hey Tracy -
I loved WW while I was doing it, but had it stayed off, I wouldn't have needed wls! So I don't know how I feel about it, but I do know how frustrating it is! I've tried really hard to comply with DVR's no snacking at night rule, and have found myself drinking flavored hot tea with s/f syrups to satisfy my sweet tooth.
I wish I had some words of wisdom for you (and me), but you're doing phenomenally well! Keep up the good work - you're an inspiration to me!

It has been really tough for me over the past two weeks as I am trying to work into my new school schedule - which really gets into full force next week. This has been driving me crazy. My eating schedule is all messed up.
I haven't exercised in two weeks - weight is holding - Thank God - I know I am not eating more than I burn -- maintenance is good right now.
Keep asking the question and hold me accountable.
Today:
1 serving oatmeal w/ skim milk
coffee w/ skim milk & splenda
Haven't planned lunch - not good
Haven't planner dinner - not good
Wiill be at the school alllllll day getting room ready. Crunch time is on.
