Good Tuesday Morning Everybody! How is everyone today? I'm doing pretty good. On track with eating here lately. Exercise is another story though...just can't seem to get in a "defined" workout. I move alot and I do alot of walking with my job (back and forth to the printer and up and down the staircase, etc.). Tia, how's your Dad doing? I hope he's doing well Let us know. My plan today for eating is: B - Tealicious Protein Drink S - Mixed Nuts L - Whole Wheat Wrap w/Turkey Lunch Meat, Mediterranean Crumbles Cheese (Feta, Provolone and Mozzarella) with a sprinkle of ranch dressing. I can't eat the whole wrap so I cut the end off to make a rectangular wrap. D - Mexican Pizza - Mostly the toppings (beans, meat, cheese, onion, salsa and sour cream), but I will have a bite or two of my homemade crust S - Tealicious Protein Drink before bed I'm not sure I'll get to post tomorrow as I'm off to play in Siesta Key for the next several days. I hope everybody has a great week and stays on track! Take Care, Terry

Morning - First, thanks to all of you for your good wishes for Dad's surgery. It went well, they came and got him at exactly 12:30, said it would be about 2 hours, and whaddya know, as soon as I fell asleep, the dr. walked in at 2:30!! Said it went perfectly, the new knee popped in just like it was supposed to, and there were no problems with his heart or pacemaker, thank goodness. They said it would be a couple of hours before they brought him to his room, so I napped a little until the phone woke me at 4 - I think it was a sign that I should go work out, so I did. I was able to keep up at my former pace, which was good considering I hadn't been there since April. I did the treadmill twice, weights, arm bike, recumbent bike, for a total of about 1 hour. I felt good after I was done, so I'm glad I got started on that again. I got back to Dad's room about 5:15, and he came up about 5:30. YIKES - was he in some SERIOUS pain. They had him on heavy duty stuff, which he said wasn't touching the pain, and finally, around 6:30, he slept for about 15 minutes. Every time he woke up, he was in pain, but he was lucid enough to tell me he was never doing that again! Mom & I left around 7:15 and of course, I didn't sleep much. I called his nurse, who was a doll & told me to call whenever I wanted, at midnight, and she said he seemed pretty comfortable and was sleeping, so that was good. I still didn't sleep well - kept dreaming of my ex-husband (WTH?), and when I woke up at 5:30, felt like I hadn't slept at all!! Called the nurse again around 6:15 and she said in was in a lot of pain and they were in the process of giving him some more drugs. I hope he's going to be well enough to be released on Thursday - they're going to get him up today - YIKES! If he has to go to a rehab center instead of coming home and having therapy at home, he will have a cow!! So that's my story! Just gonna try to make it through the day without falling asleep in my coffee! Thanks again for your good wishes! Terry, I will be SO with you on that trip. I hope you have a wonderful, relaxing time! Call me when you get back so I can live vicariously!! Have a safe trip and remember the sunscream!!! Tia

Good morning Terry I've been by here a couple of times this a.m. and been interupted or been booted out of IE each time, but let's give this a shot. I had a reasonably good night until about 3:45 a.m. when I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep until about 4:45 when the clock goes off at 5 a.m. . I'm awake and alert (fortunately I am a morning person), but I'll be dead on my feet by 8 p.m. tonight. Have a wonderful time in Siesta Key! I would love to get away somewhere for a few days. We are going to Woodbine for Labor Day weekend with the RV .. that's not exactly getting away, but at least I won't be home Bunches to do here, so I had better get with it. Hugs, Mo

Morning everyone. Well, I am freezing in this office AGAIN. I keep forgetting to bring my sweater. Can't take a walk today as i am cutting my lunch hour so I can leave early on Friday. My daughter has a Missionettes weekend retreat and my hubby has a Royal Ranger's Pow Wow to attend on Friday. I am by myself after dropping off my daughter on Friday. WOOHOO! That'll be so nice. Haven't had a day like that in a long time. Not much happening at work. Not much happening at home either. Just a nice regular day. I did take my measurements this AM. Today is my 5 month anniversary. I am only down about 7 lbs which would be really disappointing except that I have lost 10.25 inches this month. So I guess that things are balancing out. I do hope that next month I so a great weight loss. I though I was doing so much better than that, but I guess it'll all work out. I am always afraid that any day now the weight loss will stop and I'll be done and struggling to avoid gaining back what I have lost so far. Tia, I am glad that the surgery went well. I can only imagine the pain your Dad would be feeling if he didn't have any meds. Ouch. I hope that each day is better than the last. Hope you get some rest too. Well, I am eating my Turkey Mushroom Meatloaf leftovers for lunch today. This is such a good recipe. Not sure what I am doing for dinner yet. Have a great day. Robin
