A Quick Good Morning
Hey everybody!
Well, it's almost too early to be on the pinuter (Baby-Kaity speak), but I wanted to get a couple of things done before we leave for the hospital for Dad's knee replacement surgery. It's scheduled for 12:30 and we have to be there at 10:00, so we'll leave here at 9:30. It's pretty much right around the corner. He's scared, of course, but strangely enough, I'm not - I have no doubt the surgery is going to go well, but I'm scared of the pain he'll be in post-op. Oh, well, they make good drugs for that!! So think good thoughts for him that all goes well, please!
I'm going to work tomorrow and for most of the day Wednesday, he's expected to come home Thursday and I'll be off then and Friday. Maybe I can rest, too! Yeah, right.
Hope everyone had a great weekend - it was soooo beautiful! The bra shopping went well - Kaity was able to get something called "bralets," which she said were comfortable. Now if she'll just wear them! The woman in the store fitting her was wonderful and made it much less painful than Kaity anticipated.
I did well eating-wise, but not so hot exercise-wise. I am taking workout clothes with me today - Dad will be on the 3rd floor and the hospital gym's on the 2nd floor, so there really is no excuse. PLUS, I DROPPED A POUND OVER THE WEEKEND! so I'd like to continue that!!!
Hope everyone has a great day! I'll be back on tomorrow morning from work. Think of Dad (and me and Mom)!!!!!
Thanks,
Tia

Good Morning Tia
Glad to hear the bra shopping went well You and your Mom and Dad are in my thoughts and prayers today. I hope everything goes well and he has a speedy recovery!
That's great about losing the lb! I keep ping ponging and gaining and losing the same lb...frustrating. I probably will not get to exercise today because I have a church council meeting tonight. It could get pretty contentious, due to some issues we need to discuss.
Hope you have a great day (under the cir****tances)!
Hugs,
Terry
Good morning Tia
I thought of you several times yesterday. We took a very scenic and round-a-bout way back from NJ and ended up stopping in Perryville at the outlets, then winding up and down (We drove through Port Deposit and over the Conowingo dam) then back down (eventually) to Rt 40 so I probably passed VERY close by on our way to 695.
The weather was glorious. We had a fun time with our friends on Saturday night. Both Carol and Dee & Cori had kids with them so they didn't stay til the end, but Mr Mo and I sat there though ALL the racing action. You actually might like dirt track racing .. it's more than just going round and round .. there's lots of 'spinnin' too it seems.
No big plans here for the week yet. I have a couple of meetings later on in the week and Thursday night all the gals should be back from vacation so we will be dancing again. (speaking of dancing .. I STILL haven'****ched the belly dancing dvd yet .. )
Hope Dad surprises you and is a good patient this time around!
Thinking good thoughts for you all.
hugs & smoochies, Mo
Good morning y'all!
I agree, it was a beautiful weekend. We went to see Barnyard on Saturday. It was a really cute movie. I initially thought it would be really stupid but it was pretty cute. Sam Elliott was one of the voices. Great family movie.
I did pretty good exercising last week. I got in 4 days!! I am planning on curves tonight and again tomorrow. Tomorrow is my official weigh-in & measurement day. 5 months ago I has surgery and I am so hoping to reach 70 lbs by tomorrow. I am soo very close. I am only a few lbs from onderland too. My pants are getting too big again. Which is a great problem to have. I really need to hit the thrift stores in search of some more pants.
The dirt track racing sounds like fun. Not really into Nascar myself but maybe I can get into the dirt track thing. Sounds like a really nice drive y'all took.
Tia, I am sending up prayers and good wishes for your dad's surgery. Praying also that his recovery goes smoothly and quickly.
Today should be pretty quiet as one of the guys I support is on vacation. I am still trying to get into a routine so that I can run this desk much smoother. Right now I get off track and jump from one thing to the next, mostly because I get stopped for other assitance or don't know quite how to do something and have to stop until I can find out what to do. It'll all work out soon.
Have a fabulous day!
Hugs, Robin
