I am scheduled for surgery 8/14 and I have not quit smoking, I just couldnt do it and now I am scared to death. I dont know how they expect you to quit when you are an emotional mess...................

Sheila, I guess you are on your way or if not already being prep for surgery. I am sorry no one had a chance to respond before today, hope everything goes well for you during your surgery and recovery. Just remember each day it gets better, believe me. God Bless

Sheila, Sorry I didn't get to post before you went for surgery. I am praying for you to come through just fine. Perhaps you will be able to quit once you are healed from surgery and can focus on getting healthy overall and not being worried about surgery. You'll be fine. Hugs, Robin
