question...hope its not to dumb

Do the ports come in different sizes? if so how do that decided what size to put in? My BMI is less than 35 now PRE-OP would that make a difference? Sorry if this is a dumb question

Donna - Nope, not too dumb! Unfortunately, I don't know anything about lap band, and since the MD board is sometimes slooooowww, you might get more responses on the lap band forum. Hi Donna, I am not sure about the ports...but I understand about the "you don't look THAT BIG" comment. I have heard that a lot too. Even thought my starting BMI was 45, I still heard from people that they didn't see why I was having surgery because I didn't "look that big or that overweight". And the ever famous "you're really small up top." That one drives me nuts. Oh well, I am slowly coming to terms with my body shape and accepting it and trying to "dress for success" so to speak so that I look more balanced. Your surgery is not that far away! Yay! Hugs, Robin
