Sister is having wls this morning

Hi My sister Ann is having wls as I write this.She is at john Hopkins in Baltimore md.It is a 4 hour drive from where she lives so I am watching her kids and getting her bedroom ready for her home coming at the end of this week.Ann is 40 years old and weighs 369 lbs,she has 2 children thomas 8 and Allison 7,they need her to be healthy and active.Ann did this for them but she did it for herself as well.She knows what wls did for me and she is still in awe and can't believe it's me when she looks.Ann is a loving Mother who was always a worker and never stayed home,the last 5 years she gained a lot of weight and she knows if she didn't do this her kids might grow up with out a mom.I love Ann woth all my heart and would die for her if I had to.I will update you when she is out of surgery thanks steve

Steve - Your post brought happy tears to my eyes. My brother, Gary & I, have the same type of relationship - sometimes we could kill each other, but we'd kill anyone that tried to hurt us! Family is the BEST thing! What a gift. Sending good wishes Ann's way, and yours, too, as you help her adjust to her new life. Her children are so lucky that she's decided to have this surgery - it surely will add a new dimension to their lives, too!!! Please keep us posted! Good luck to all of you! Teresa

Hi Steve, I'll be keeping your sister Ann in my prayers. It is great that she has you to support her. My sister is having her wls this week as well. Aug 9. She lives in Minnisota though. I wish I could be with her but I know that her husband is really supportive and will help her out a lot. Keep us posted. Hugs, Robin

Stephen, Ann is richly blessed to have a brother like you who loves and supports her so beautifully. Prayers are going up as I type for a safe and successful surgery and recovery.
