The Big "E" - exercise - be careful in the heat!!!!

I am so proud of all of you. I must confess that I shortened my work-out last night to 30 minutes of heavy bicycling - and that was it!!!!! By the time I made it to the gym last night - I was whipped from the heat. I am hoping to make at least 30 minutes tonight (late) when it cools off. It seems that even the gym has a hard time keeping the place cool enough on days like today. Take it easy -- our bodies are working so hard to keep us cool -- so BE CAREFUL.
I guess the question for today - should be are we keeping hydrated?

Hi Debra,
I have had some issues with the heat over the last 2 weeks...in fact, I have walked outside only once and immediately felt light-headed....I can't wait for fall....then I walk non-stop....I love it....but this hot and humid weather really kicks my behind....I still do my several daily walks up/down 5 flights of stairs to use the bathroom (at work) ...that helps get in my steps each day.

Debra, great idea posting exercise... I love it.
Thurs weights and cardio and added a spin class (unusual because it starts normally when I'm finished my workout. Used our lap pool in our development for the second time this summer... warm water...yuck but did 16 laps...
Today, Friday, I treat myself to swimming. Just recently added... it kicks my behind...I can only swim a mile plus 2 extra lengths now but working hard to increase. Then I whirlpool and steam to end the day... It's my end of week treat... Makes Friday workday breeze by...
