Happy Hump Day Everybody!
Good Morning Everybody, Happy Hump Day!
Hope everyone's prepared for a hot one today. I plan to keep cool and drink lots of water (as usual). I've got my meals planned for today:
B - Kashi Creamy Natural Cereal (Truly Vanilla Flavor) with ground flax seed, milk and SF French Vanilla Syrup
L- Small Chef's Salad (where I'll eat all the meat and cheese and a little of the lettuce)
D - Left over yummy homemade spaghetti sauce and pasta (or if I get real energetic, I'll cook up the spaghetti squash that I picked up last night, although I don't want to put the oven on and I'm not sure about cooking it in the microwave)
I'm also going to do another hour on the elliptical trainer tonight...I will get below 200lbs and I will make it to goal (164lbs). I'm hoping to get down to 170ish prior to plastic surgery.
So what's your day gonna be like? Stay cool and hydrated and have a great one everybody!
Take Care,
Terry
Good Morning Terry! That's great on planning out your meals and the exercising. You will succeed and reach your goal! Today I am dropping daughter and friend off at band camp. While there, going to walk the track (2 miles). I have to do a field trip for a summer school program later this afternoon. Not looking forward to getting on that hot bus, but will have plenty of ice water on hand to make me feel good and keep me hydrated. Tonight - nothing going on. Not sure what else I'll eat today, but I will stay on track. Everyone have a great day!

Good Morning -
Thanks for your congratulatory post! My reply to you specifically showed up at the bottom, instead of under yours, but I knew you'd figure it out!
Last night, we took the kids to Cactus Willie's Buffet - CAN YOU SAY DOUBLE ICK??? Normally, I can find SOMETHING protein-wise to eat, baked fish, etc., but last night, the pickin's were slim - although, I'm happy to say, I did manage a few bites of medium steak. It was pretty tender, and I don't usually experiment while I'm out in puglic (Brian-speak), but it worked! Yay!!! Some yucky veggies, and I was done. Plus, it was about 95 degrees in there!!!! I won't be going back and I WILL be emailing them!!!
Not much going on today, the Col.'s in the office so anything's possible!!! Tomorrow, yet another funeral to attend, the 3rd one within 6 weeks for my F/Sgt.'s family. When I found out about this latest death, I was completely at a loss for words - WHICH NEVER HAPPENS, as you well know.
I'm off Friday, Mom & I are going to celebrate my 1 year anniversary - not sure what we're gonna do - maybe a trip to the big Wally World in Aberdeen, a movie and lunch. We'll see. You know what they say, "A bad day at Wally World is better than a good day at work!!!"
Okay, gotta run - the Col. is calling - SIR!!!
See you all on the 6th!!!
Tia
Happy Wednesday Teresa
Even knowing how hot it would be when I walked out the door still didn't prepare me for it!!! I walk out the front door and just am overwhelmed with the 'OMG you just can barely breathe in it heat'.
My interview for the job I'm not sure I want has been set for next Tuesday (the 8th) at 11 a.m. I am really torn about the whole thing. I'm going to do the interview and see what comes of it. I can always turn the job down, but if I don't go through with the interview I'll always wonder if I did the right thing.
Have a great day!
Hugs, Mo
Hey Mo -
It was me and it was the Cactus Willie's in Dundalk. I just hate the quality or should I say non-quality of their food. But the kids like it and we had free coupons for them. It's just gross! I never try to use my restaurant card, because I figure if they didn't charge me extra when I could eat more, they shouldn't have to charge me less because I can eat less. Not going back, though!!!!
You know, I think you're doing the right thing by going on the interview. I always play, "What if...." it seems to be my favorite game. This way, you'll know what might have been. You'll do great, and they'll be so impressed with you.
XOXOXO,
Tia
